Wilkins: Chances on being a Brave?

It could be. Coach Les does have a history of rewarding walkons with scholarships in the past (Danny Adams). But it is already too late for Lavin to get a scholarship for the first semester, as I do not think it can be rewarded retroactively.

Any news???

It seems sort of strange we have not heard anything lately on this front either here or in the media. Anyone hear anything yet? When is the last day he has a shot to enroll for this semester? At this rate, given not having apparently enrolled/been declared eligible yet, and combined with the 5 game suspension, it looks like we will not see him on the floor this year. However, I would like to seem him in school at BU and sitting on the bench, rather then dangling out there for another program.

You must not be on here to often...... it has been annouced that the NCAA has received his records and now we are awaiting an anoucement in the next day or so hopefully that he is ready to go
 
Thanks. No, I'm limited in logging on at work this season;-) I searched for his name in the threads and did not see that bit of information.

It was posted yesterday, but do to a fluke, those threads got deleted/lost from the system. Honest mistake.
 
There was a computer glitch that deleted some threads. But it was reported the Clearinghouse had his paperwork and as soon as they were reviewed a decision should be coming.

Edit: Beat me to it.
 
That just made this night any better because I did not see before that they had his papers. I must have missed it before it got deleted. Awesome night.
