I agree , do any of these posters do any research before giving us names like Judson, Giacoletti and some of these other coaches that have not done well in the past, also we need to stick with a asst. that has been in the midwest for awhile so he can recruit this area.
Judson has been nowhere but the Midwest, was 74-101 at NIU, but did manage a 1st and 4th place finish, and if you add his assistant coaching experiences, at Illinois, Bradley, NIU and Illinois State, he is either head coach or top assistant with a record of 383-188...
Also add in that he himself was an academic All-American, is from the state and well-versed in the Valley and Illinois, the respect of his colleagues, His recruiting acumen, and his integrity, and yes, I would say he would be a good choice...
