WRONG FORUM BUT OH WELL!

MM, it is against the rules of fandom to root for both the Cards and Cubs. Choose a side.

For MLB, I root for two teams (Cubs and Cards)... just like in College Hoops there are fans out there (not me) who root for two teams (Braves and Illini). :-P

Go Bradley!
Go Bears - Go Colts.
Go Cubs - Go Cards.

I told you guys that we didn't need a defense when we had Rex!!!

AND MY MAN KELVIN SAVES THE DAY!!! Who woulda thought an Illini football player would be a superbowl hero.

Btw, congrats go to the Bears for a great season. Yes Grossman did not have a great game, but those who want to run him out of town should take a step back and see what a great job he did to get them to the Super Bowl. For those who don't think he should be back, remember this: for all intents and purposes, HE WAS A ROOKIE THIS YEAR! He probably is ahead of where Farve and Aikman where after their first years.

I'd give him another season to see how much he improves. And yes, there should be a competition during the preseason with Griese to see who should start next year. The Bears should not just annoint a quarterback without a competition. But to suggest that Grossman should not get the chance to build upon this year is pretty cold after what he did to get us where we got. Yes, he has to not unravel when he has bad starts. But I think that will come with experience. Otherwise a great season, with an NFC Championship trophy to boot. I would say that is not too shabby! :D

man THAT is a rarity Cards and Cubs fan? that is worse than a sox & cubs fan. i can't fathom that one, as i detest the cards. i respect their winning ways, but can't stand them just the same.

I don't know if I'll be able to take MM seriously when it comes to baseball. This is unacceptable in my book. Am I the only one that thinks this?

i agree with you, how can you root for two rivals within the same division?

I'd just like to put in a thank you to the admins of this board for not just blowing up this thread because it doesn't "directly relate to Bradley" as a certain "other" board might. The Super Bowl is a big deal and I enjoy hearing what Bradley fans feel about a slightly off-topic subject.

Thanks again!

I found the Bears' 2nd half performance, especially Train Rex's, hostile and abusive to the animal kingdom. :(

Agreed. He was abusive toward the pigskin by dropping it repeatedly and throwing it away. However, he was very kind to several colts.

I view pigskins and colts as special interest groups subservient to bears who are obviously higher on the food chain.

I haven't blamed Rex for anything all year, but it's time for him to pay the piper. His performance in this game was horrible. 4 turnovers in the Super Bowl. I could overlook it during the regular season because I was giving him the learning curve. It's time for him to shape up or ship out. I just really can't believe it. If he only has 1 turnover I'm pretty confident the Bears win. I don't know i'm just blabbering. I guess I'm just sick to my stomach that the media was right. The Bears lost and it was Rex's fault! END OF STORY!
