a name I can't find much of anything on - maybe a "ringer"..?
..as I searched for his name even on the UNI message board- here's what they say...
"Who the heck is Rafael de Souza?"
..and nobody - not one fan seems to know anything about him or about his presence on the roster.

Here's something else interesting...

Missouri State has reportedly just offered a 2016, juco kid from Eastern Oklahoma, a big man, 6-9 center Dalen Victor.
But on paper they do not appear to have any open scholarships - so this maybe means someone is leaving or someone did not qualify.

Plus Dalen Victor is a bit of a stretch and perhaps some desperation...
the kid is all the way to August and doesn't have any offers - and is still hanging out there?
He averaged 10 ppg on 42.6% shooting and only 47.8% on FTs

so who is not going to be there in 2016 - poss. a big man like McCullough since that's what they are trying to add...
BUT --- check their roster...
their super-highly touted freshman Greg Williams is NO LONGER on the roster...so pretty bad sign

Missouri State - Greg Williams is still not added to the roster but there is a Gregory W. Williams, freshman, listed in their student directory
UNI - added Rafael de Souza and Jordan Ashton still not added to roster nor officially mentioned by UNI
SIU - Jeremy Roscoe is gone (presumably not eligible), Bola Olaniyan left and Marcus Bartley added to roster (must sit out this year)
Wichita - Steven Solomon has left the team

For Drake, Girardi and Halfon are both walk-ons.

I'm almost certain that Girardi is a nephew of Joe Girardi. I know that Giacoletti was good friends with the Girardi family in Peoria.

Wichita State gets a commitment from a junior college guard tonight- 5'11" 2-star recruit Samajae Haynes-Jones of Hutchinson Community College.
As a freshman last season, he averaged 15.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, and 2.4 apg, and he shot 37.2% from three.
His other offers were from Robert Morris and Eastern Tennessee. He is originally from Wichita East High School.

Wichita State has no seniors, and they had no scholarships opening for next year. But with the departure of Peyton Allen, one scholarship opened yesterday, and this commitment fills that.
