Coach, just read Adam Zagoria just entered the Portal! He chose Tulane over Bradley and a couple other schools last year. Do you think Bradley is still interested?

Yes, Bradley offered Stefan Cicic of Riverside-Brookfied HS a year ago. He committed to Tulane, but as noted, he is back in the portal.

I can confirm that our coaches are aware of this and they have been in contact with him.
There have been a large number of new contacts in the last few days, too numerous to list.
 
likely they are working 15 hrs a day to fill those open scholarships but our staff keeps thing pretty confidential as we have seen
over and over...
BU has been a very successful and winning program since before Covid so I think we are in a better spot than a lot of mid-majors...

It sounds like we may be concentrating on high school players now. Interesting we are looking at high school big men then also hire a Coach who is good at developing big men. We may use the last 3scholarshhips on bringing in promising young players in hopes of developing them for future playing time
 
That makes some sense. If they can't land an immediate impact big man, then maybe it's better to get a recruit who has a big upside, and won't get discouraged if he doesn't get starters' minutes and then transfers.
On the other hand, maybe they are just being thorough and evaluating high school kids because with the portal, it has become an under-recruited pool of players.

Yes there has to be high school kids getting overlooked because the slots on the teams are being taken by transfers

Yeah and honestly I think we need 2 more inside players who will play in the rotation.

it was a depth issue by the end of the last year.. and that’ was with WITH Darius and Almar on the roster

I know ppl are high on AJ Smith as a rebounder but I’ve seen nothing from his highlights that suggests he plays the 4… and if he does he will be outsized, and more than likely in foul trouble. Same with WOL…. They just seem to be more perimeter than interior.

My opinion anyway
