The final weekend of MVC regular season games includes 1 game on Saturday. Feb. 28 and 5 games on Sunday, March 1.
This unusual format requires Evansville to play games on both Saturday and Sunday to complete their schedule. This was caused by the postponement of the January 25 game with SIU at Evansville, due to a snow storm.
The MVC rescheduled that game for Sunday. March 1-
Sat. Feb. 28- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/scoreboard/_/date/20260301/group/18
Sun, Mar. 1- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/scoreboard/_/date/20260301/group/18

Valparaiso will play at Evansville Saturday, Feb. 28, in a game moved up to 3:00 pm. Then they are the idle team on Sunday.
Evansville plays Valpo at 3 pm Saturday, then hosts SIU at 3 pm Sunday.

3 teams could be tied with 12-8 records after Sunday, Murray St. hoping they lose to us, Ill.St. and Valpo, Will be interesting to see which one of them ends up 6th in the play in round.
Hoping Bully is reminding everyone about Murray St. beating us early on the road and getting everybody ready to play Sunday.

Drake has one regular season game then the tourney to break an EIGHT GAME LOSING STREAK
that dates back to the whupping we laid on them back in January.

After the trash talk the Drake fans gave Bradley the past few years - this is sweet....

Regardless- we hafta win Sunday to keep the #2 or #3 seed.

On the left, were the possible scenarios prior to todays game between Valpo and Evansville, and on the right, the scenarios after Valpo's win today. There were a few scenarios with Bradley falling to the #6 seed, which are now gone. Now the 6 seed is between Valpo and UNI.

YES!!!!
Halftime score

Indiana State 34 - UIC 31

(anyone notice the "Most Interesting Man" Dos Equis commercials are all 100% AI & CGI now, no actual actors)

Final score-- Indiana State 79 - UIC 63

Sycamores come alive in the final 10-12 minutes, hitting threes, shutting down UIC's offense...
The lead went from 6 pts to 23 points in an 8 minute stretch
UIC was just 2-15 from the arc, InSU was 14-29 (Camp Wagner was 7-10)

Indiana State took 29 of their 51 shot attempts (57%) from behind the arc

So the winner of the BU-Murray State game is the 2-seed
