2016 transfer list

another transfer with an interesting connection...

Valparaiso sophomore David Skara
..the article specifically mentions Brian Wardle as a DI coach who was active in recruiting Skara before he chose Valpo...
http://www.nwitimes.com/blogs/sport...cle_9b8322d0-07ef-11e6-a241-f74cbb5d6508.html

Skara's situation made news because Valparaiso had refused to release him if he wanted to go to Vanderbilt to follow Bryce Drew..

Wow, that is a really long article that says very little about Skara's situation.

Anyway, I posted about him and the Wardle connection earlier in this thread, about 4 weeks ago-

However, with all of Bradley's scholarships filled, I don't see him ending up at Bradley now.

Nick Banyard commits to UCF for next year - he is eligible immediately
kinda of a lateral step at best - maybe a step down - they are a football conference with basketball playing 2nd fiddle.
ISU was a top-110 team while UCF is a lesser known directional school that is down around 225...

Banyard should get some playing time, as UCF returns only 3 of their top 7 players...
but the one top guy they have returning - their leading scorer and guy who played the most minutes by far is AJ Davis (son of NBA'er Antonio Davis), a similar type (but better) player to Nick Banyard

one more last minute transfer
Drew Cayce - a Creighton guard from La Lumiere in LaPorte, IN is leaving and transferring to Illinois and will walk on at Illinois
Cayce split time at point guard back in 2014-15 at La Lumiere with one of Bradley's recruits back then, Munis Tutu..
Tutu went to Loyola Marymount and averaged 4 ppg & 3 apg as a part time freshman starter for Loyola Marymount, but shot poorly - under 30% both overall and behind the arc.

Tommy Hamilton IV - former BU recruit, is now reported to be leaving DePaul and will transfer to Texas Tech..
he should call Alex Foster and find out....

In his 3 years at DePaul Hamilton has been in and out of the doghouse, and has averaged 7.7, 10 then 8.6 ppg
career average is 8.75 ppg, 5.2 rpg

Actually I have to give lightsout kudos on this one..
he had this almost two months ago...
