a name from the distant past....
Former BU recruit and LOI signee MICHAEL TUCKER appears to have been granted another year (medical redshirt) to play at John A. Logan College...
He was a preseason NJCAA All American a year ago - but played in only 7 games - averaging 18.4 ppg/8.9 rpg.......

Tucker didn't get his extra year at John A. Logan so he transferred to Southern Indiana University - but he's already left the team there as well....so he may now be out of eligibility - unless he can catch on at some NAIA

Here's a name from the past... Michael Tucker....
He was originally a 2013 recruit but numerous things (transfers, injuries, ineligibility..) kept him from ever playing, altho he was talented - even being named a pre-season juco All American ...
Surely he must be out of eligibility by now, right? well, nope - NAIA apparently allows you up to 6 or 7 years to complete eligibility
as we saw once with another former Bradley recruit, Daniel West.

Anyway - Tucker ended up signing with NAIA Point University in summer of 2018 and was said to have TWO YEARS of eligibility remaining (thru 2020) (this is the 8th or 9th school he's attended or committed to)
http://www.pointskyhawks.com/article/2760

However - he isn't listed on the roster nor did he play at all during 2018-19 -
strangely - Point University also signed another former Bradley recruit - Paul Turner from Chicago who was a 2014 recruit that is now into his 6th year, he also did not play in 2018-19 but he's still on the roster for 2019-2020.

2018 BU recruiting target Jojo Toppin has verbaled to Georgia

former Bradley recruiting target Jojo Toppin is leaving Georgia and transferring to Georgia State

...pretty amazing how many of these guys Bradley was after - then aimed way too high and were unhappy...
now he has to transfer, sit out and hope he is happier at the next place or transfer again if not...

Bradley has been recruiting Isaiah Rivera of Geneseo HS since early 2018- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...179#post463179

.... Bradley was one of the first D1 schools to show interest in him.
And Bradleyfans.com was the first to report Bradley's interest and offer to him- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...386#post481386

But this afternoon he verbally committed to Colorado State.

Followup on a few former Bradley recruits-
18 months ago we noted that Bradley was recruiting a trio of talented players at Chicago Heights Bloom HS, as above. I am not sure Bradley ever offered any of the recruits, and I have not heard any word that we were still in recruiting contact recently.
Martice Mitchell is uncommitted, but has a number of high-major offers-

Keshawn Williams is still uncommitted-

Dante Maddox had several MVC offers, but just verbally committed to Cal State Fullerton-

Here are a couple other names that Bradley has been in recruiting contact with:

2020 Caleb Love- A 6'3" wing guard who will only be a sophomore at Christian Brothers High School in St. Louis. There is very little written about him anywhere, but he is already getting attention from major and even some high major coaches. He also plays for the St. Louis Eagles AAU team.

One-time Bradley recruit Caleb Love with 28 points for North Carolina to send them to the win over Duke and a spot in the National Championship game.
As noted above, Bradley recruited Love in the summer before his sophomore year at Christian Brothers HS in St. Louis. He would blow up and become one of the top recruits in his class of 2020.
5-stars- https://verbalcommits.com/players/caleb-love

He averaged 15.7 ppg this season as a sophomore, but he has averaged 20.0 ppg through UNC's 5 games in the NCAA Tournament so far.

Interestingly, Kansas also has a couple players on their roster who were Bradley recruits at one time-
Starting guard and 2nd leading scorer Christian Braun (14.2 ppg, 39% from three)
Starting point guard, leading assists, and 6th leading scorer Dajuan Harris, Jr. (5.5 ppg, 4.1 apg)-

Interesting trivia-- Dajuan Harris was a high school teammate of Isiaih Mosley at Rock Bridge HS in Columbia, Mo. and they teamed together to win the Missouri Class 5 state championship in 2019 over Caleb Love's St. Louis Christian Brothers HS team.

Here are several other new names that Bradley coaches have had some recruiting contact with-
2019 Christian Braun- a 6'4" shooting guard from Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas. He also plays for the Mokan Elite summer team.

Here we have 2 of the best teams money can buy going at it. I have noticed the media lately is questioning why the NCAA has not done anything with Bill Self and Kansas. Glad to see it. I hope they keep pressing them for an answer and put them on the spot .

Bradley has offered Kevin Easley, a 6'6", 210 pound forward from Lawrence North High School

former 2018 Bradley recruit Kevin Easley - who is currently at his 4th school
(plus he originally committed then backed out of his commitment to VCU)...

...just got an NCAA waiver for another year and will now transfer again.
So 2024-25 will be his 7th season of Division I ball at his 5th different school.
