New name- 2023 Traijan Sain-6'5" senior wing from Cedar Rapids Washington HS. Averaged 17.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg as a junior, and 16 ppg this season, and is considered one of the top uncommitted shooters/scorers in the state of Iowa in the class of 2023.
A problem is determining what scholarships will be open. What seniors will be back? Who or how many may want to transfer?
This is not looking into these problems ... just some musings.
At least two seniors that say in the paper they haven’t made up their minds.
Well, JaShon can't come back and Malevy has already stated he is, so that leaves Rienk and Ville. That's good news in my book! Would be nice to have one more year with both of them. Who replaces the toughness we lose with JHen, though? He is one of a kind!
I hope they come back for some "unfinished business"

I get chasing Kennedy to shore up PG, but O'Neil sounds like a great fit. We need 3 pt shooting, and athleticism. If he has that many blocks one would hope he is athletic.
A couple new names that Bradley coaches have been in contact with-
2025 Clayton Parker- 6'7" forward from Montgomery City, Missouri. He is a sophomore at Montgomery County HS. He averaged 23.5 ppg, 9 rpg, shot 63.0% overall, 45.2% from three, and 82.0% on FTs his sophomore season.

He is originally from Nashville, TN, where he did his first 3 years of high school. He finished high school at Donda Prep, the basketball prep academy in Simi Valley, California. that was founded by Kanye West. He originally committed to Rutgers, but later committed to BYU. At BYU, he redshirted this past year so he still has 4 years of eligibility left.

Another positive note about transfers. Alot of open slots at all the different teams are being filled by transfers there should be some good quality high school players that will available because the number of opportunities for them are narrowing
I think we'd be better off veering away from high school players unless we feel they can make a real difference right away. Otherwise, we just turn into training facilities for the Power 5. I'd like to see them focus more on upper classmen transfers.
I agree.. Thats kind of my point. There should be some very qualified high school players available but like you said the downside if they make a splash then they will get noticed and might want to transfer.. Either way I feel the NCAA needs to get a handle on all this transferring. It is decimating teams
The one plus for recruiting HS players.. If the power 5 is taking mid-major players and only the cream of the crop HS guys, then a fair numbers of talented players who might never have considered a mid-major may look at one (or Juco to prove themselves worthy). Of course the trick is keeping them.
