2025 and beyond recruits

Is the rumor mill true that Cooper K. Coming home to Bradley? BU collective says we could end up with 4 close to and home town players! Cooper makes 3. Who's the 4th?

Haha... we can always have hope.
Bradley would love to have Lathan Sommerville, but he has not declared any interest yet in transferring. The portal officially opens Monday, March 24.

OTOH, Cooper Koch is planning on transferring, but he has not made any decisions yet. He will have a lot more offers, and probably some will be able to offer bigger NIL guarantees than Bradley. It's nice to see that Bradley is making a push for him.

we can hope that since Cooper Koch's father played several years of pro basketball and then for the past couple decades has been
a successful real estate agent - that just maybe Cooper's decision will be more about playing opportunities, being near family and not just money.

I think we have a good chance of Cooper transferring to Bradley. Bradley would be a perfect fit for him. Cooper has a little brother playing basketball in grade school who is pretty good and his parents attend every game. It’s tuff for them to get to Iowa games and get back at a reasonable hour. It would be a lot easier for his family if he played closer. Cooper now has friends going to Bradley ( Zobs, Richardson) which he didn’t when he signed his very early NLI. I also think Lathan and Stowers end up at Bradley as well. Stowers has lots of family in this area who won’t be able to go see him play. Family, friends will win over the excitement of leaving town.

Bradley recruit Simm-Marten Saadi just committed to Drake - https://x.com/SimmSaadi/status/1855040215217586673

6'9" forward Simm-Marten Saadi was recruited by Bradley, but committed to Drake last November. He is now revoking his commitment to Drake, asking for his release, and re-opening his recruitment - https://x.com/SimmSaadi/status/1904907002536435769

But in his case, he's never played for McCollum, and I doubt the level of loyalty to him is anywhere near the same.

Here is a scouting report on him from last year:
a 6’9 stretch big Efficient shooter from deep, has a solid post touch and is usually a double double threat during Fiba play
Not a great defender or athlete, but will provide value where you want him too

It is being reported by a Des Moines radio station (KXNO) that Owen Freeman already has an NIL promise of $1.6 million from Michigan, and another for $800,000 from Arkansas.
I suspect that kind of money will prevent Bradley from having any chance.

Owen Freeman reportedly commits to Creighton.
There are also reports that new Iowa head coach ben McCollum never reached out to Freeman.

A lot of new names that Bradley has been in contact with, some more than others. :)
