2026 and beyond recruits

Yes. He's a junior, and would be a senior next year

Note that as of now, Bradley at the most, could have only 2 seniors next year. The only 2 juniors on the current roster are Demarion Burch and Handy Toussaint III. And though nothing is certain, there is a possibility that neither of them are back next year. So it would not be a bad thing to consider bringing in a transfer who would be a senior.
Yes I would bring in 1 or 2 as long as they can contribute immediately in places of need.

Correct me if I am wrong, but saw that the Washington Huskies did not earn a bid for post season play for the seventh straight year. Can only imagine what is going through Lathan Sommervilles head right now. Earning all that NIL money, but to no avail. Will see what happens, but maybe he is satisfied where he is at.
I do not get why so many think he is the answer because of his name and size. His dad was a much better player as far as shooting and rebounding. I have seen him play at Rutgers and Washington and I do not see him as the player that could dominate in the Valley.

He is a very good player - he finished 2nd to Morez Johnson for Illinois Mr. Basketball
In the right system where the guards would actually pass him the ball, he would help Bradley a ton.
Remember, last year at Rutgers, they had two hotshot teammates that between them, hogged half the shots and almost 5 times
as many shots as Lathan took, even tho he was the team's 3rd leading scorer with that small fraction of the shots taken
as Harper & Bailey took. Lathan's minutes at Rutgers (20 min per game) was just 60% of the 33 min per game the other two got.

A couple new names-

2026 juco- Joseph "Jojo" Hunter- 6-6" redshirt-Sophomore guard at Seminole State College, a community college in Seminole, Oklahoma. This season as a sophomore, he averaged 18.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 4.5 apg, and shot 54.6% overall and 25.8% from three. He is from Fresno, CA, and in high school, he was a highly recruited guard with scholarship offers from schools like Illinois, Nebraska, USC, Arizona, Ole Miss and others. He enrolled at Fresno State for the 2023-24 school year, but he left school and did not play.

I have watched him several times too. I think him against MVC would be way more favorable than the athletic bigs in the B10.

Yes, to put it more simply, there are no other bigs like him in the MVC. I have watched many of his games, high school and college. His game is similar to Chase Walker (2-time 1st team All-MVC), who has proven that a big man like him can be a special asset in the MVC. But IMO, Lathan is bigger, stronger, smarter, and better than Chase Walker. Lathan would be a POY type of player.

Agreed. He could play a hybrid role in the MVC. A mix between his father and Walker.

And an update on a 2026 juco recruit we posted about back in early November- McCaden Adams. He is a 6'4" guard who had only played 3 games at that time. Now his team, Snow College in Utah is 20-1 and has spent most of the season ranked #1 in the NJCAA poll. Adams leads the team averaging 18.7 ppg, and he shoots 40.0% from three.

don't know if Bradley has offered McCaden Adams (I hope we have), playing for Snow College (founded as a Mormon junior college in Ephraim, UT
but now it's a public/state school) ... but today he had an awesome game at the NJCAA Nationals. Snow blew out Trinidad State 128-86
and Adams was 10-13 & 7-9 from 3-pt, 30 pts, 4 reb, 5 asst in just 24 minutes. He's averaging 18.5 ppg & 42.3% from 3-point.

Another kid, juco sophomore at Parkland, they just won the NJCAA Division II National Championship...
and their best guy is Jaiden Martin, a Milwaukee kid
that our staff surely must know about - 6-4 guard averaging 21.2 ppg, 43% from 3-point, 82% on FTs and 3 asst with a 2:1 A/T Ratio.
He had 34 points yesterday in their Championship win.
