Go hard after him!! Hope he doesn’t follow Jake to Utah State. He could have started for our team this year. Saw him in Washington tourney and he is a pure shooter. Was mad that he had already signed with UNI

Ryan Evans is a 6'6" sophomore wing at Gaston College, in Dallas NC. He verbally committed last fall to Georgia State. But, last week, after Georgia State fired their head coach, he requested his release-

Transfer portal- Max Booher- 6'4" sophomore guard at Quincy University. ....
Max Booher just announced he is transferring to Eastern Michigan... but the NCAA portal rules clearly state that coaches are prohibited
from contacting those intending to enter the portal until after April 7 when they are officially entered into the portal.
"NCAA rules prohibit coaches from discussing transfer opportunities with athletes not in the portal. Doing so can lead to tampering violations. "

Just last year a coach was penalized by NCAA for contacting kids not yet officially entered in the transfer portal - LINK

Just an fyi....
In 2025 the portal opened March 24.
The guys Bradley landed from the portal didn't commit until 24 (AJ), 27 (Alex), 31 (Wol) and 35 (Yu) days after the portal opened.
If history repeats itself and our staff works the portal similarly this year, then we might not expect commitments from the portal
until well into May. HS & Juco kids can commit or sign at any time.
