Always a Brave team in FINAL FOUR of The Basketball Tournament

The Golden Eagles Alumni advance with a 82-71 win over Armored Athlete.
Former Bradley recruit Darius Johnson-Odom took over in the 2nd half and carried the Marquette alumni to the win.

Up next is Always a Brave vs. Pedro's Posse at 8:00 PM Central on ESPN2.

If the Always a Brave can win tonight, they will play The Golden Eagles Alumni Saturday night at 8:00 PM eastern (7:00 PM Central) on ESPN2.

Daniel Ruffin with 3 three-pointers in a row to help push Always a Brave from a 20-15 deficit, to a 25-20 lead.

Halftime-
#9 seed Always a Brave 41
#5 seed Pedro's Posse 36

Ruffin with 11 points
Tony Bennett with a good game and a 3 at the buzzer, and Marcellus Sommerville with a great half.

I think their game plan was to leave Ruffin unguarded - maybe thinking he was not a shooter, and the Braves burned them on that decision

Bradley and Peoria getting a lot of love on this broadcast. Not sure how many are watching but this has to be good for recruiting.

Box score for Game 3-

Golden Eagles Alumni were lead by 2 guys who were almost Bradley Braves. Dwight Buycks, who signed a LOI for Jim Les, but never qualified, and ended up at Marquette via juco (Indian Hills CC), lead the Marquette alumni with 23 points. Darius Johnson-Odom, who visited Bradley and wanted to come to Bradley, but then he ended up at Hutchinson CC, then Marquette, had 15 points and a team-leading 3 assists.

If the Bradley Alumni can hold on to their lead, they will play the Marquette Alumni tomorrow night at 7PM Central.

Always a Brave leads 56-46 with 11:29 left. Both teams looking tired, and showing defensive lapses.
Go Braves!

reading some of the comments - and game still not in the bank yet but
Amazing how it's taken TEN DANG YEARS for the blind, deaf, & dumb anti-JL crowd to finally see & admit how really good those JL players are

I dont think anyone disagrees that the 2006 year wasn't special and that there were a couple other fun years. It was the downward slide after that year that got him canned.

The game has turned into a rout. Always a Brave leads by 21 with 6:57 left.

Pedro's Posse is playing their deep bench players who don't even have names on their jerseys. They cannot guard the Braves' guards or Cellus.
Looks like they have given up. I'm loving it!

Marcellus Sommerville to the bench with a team-leading 28 points.
Braves now milking clock.

Now a 26 point lead with under 4 minutes left.
