Arch Madness games

Just an unreal performance by the Drake Bulldogs as they throughly dominated Belmont beating them 100-79. Owen Larson also had one of those games as he had 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. His running mate Jaylen Quinn had a team high 31. In a year of some improbable results this one topped them all. Drake has now won a record 11 straight MVC tournament games. They will look to make it 13 straight at 2:30 tomorrow against the winner of UIC and Murray St.
 
I mentioned yesterday that if you take an opponent lightly, it would probably mean a loss. Belmont found out the hard way. Bradley's path is now easier to the title game. Hope Bradley can win today and tomorrow. Let's go get them guys

I believe the MVC wants as many people in those side sections (101, 102, 103, 104) that show on camera, so it doesn't look like the MVC doesn't have many fans.

Game 2 of the MVC Quarterfinals as Murray St takes on UIC. Murray won by 4 in Chicago and at home by 7 but that was awhile ago and both teams kind of went in opposite directions. I expect UIC to win.
 
UIC taking it to Murray State as they lead at the half 50-32. 3 guys are already in double digits for the Flames as they shot 18-33 overall. Murray struggled from the field as they were 9-32 overall, 3-12 from 3.
 
Looks like the Ohio Valley teams, that some people on the social media sites have been bragging up all year and claiming that that MVC isn't so good, might have spoken up a little too soon.
 
MVC coaches are smart - had Belmont & Murray State scouted well & game-planned perfectly by mid-season and
you can see the results.

Murray State won just 4 of their final 13 games
and Belmont lost 3 of their final 7.....

Belmont will play somewhere in a post-season tournament but Murrry State?
I don't know...
They will have 12 losses NET 105+ and non-conference SOS 299, altho John Rooney says they should be playing in the NIT.

Gotta think Domon and Javon Jackson will take a hard look at the portal...
Likewise several Belmont guys- Orme, Scharnowski, Jenkins, maybe Dillon??

In the game that wouldn’t freakin end UIC had it all under control beating Murray St 92-79 UIC had 5 guys in double figures and were 33-63 overall. Murray was just 23/63 overall, 6-22 from 3. There were a total of 50 fouls called in this game. UIC smadvancesbto play Drake at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.
