Bears and Angelo looking for QB?

54....how about offensive coordinator? :D

Anywhere we can have him. And Marinelli scares me a little. He's best friends with Lovie and all but he just went an entire season without winning a game. I know the NFL is a tough gig and M may be better suited to be a coordinator or assistant, but to not win 1 game is pretty bad.

New England should have a QB available for next year! Imagine the Bears ever having a franshise QB.

it's hard to blame M for the no wins. They have NO QB...absolutely NO QB. Kitna is mediocre at best...and he gets hurt. Culpepper is WAY past his prime. The team around him couldn't get a win. He did everything he could to get a win and they just couldn't do it. It's easy to look at an 0-16 season, but the lions were close on MULTIPLE games.
I'm glad I saw an 0-16 team in my lifetime...but it is pretty sad at the same time.

Kurt Warner was an idea people were kicking around as a QB. That would be GREAT. I don't care if he's old, he's a great football player.

bears need to draft a reciever, it's pretty deep this year. Either completely support ORton, or get somebody.

I'm liking the bears for the next few seasons. A supposed terrible year puts them second in the NFC north. this rebuilding year looked like a potential playoff season.

oh well...only 8 months to completely change my feelings and opinions

Mediocre at best gets you at least one win. They have been so bad for so long they have enough high draft picks to go out and get one win.

I like Warner but it kind of seems like he is a warm weather/indoor qb. Maybe not the best fit for Chicago, but who knows.

And a receiver. YES YES YES. The Bears desperately need an impact WR.

all those high draft picks have given them 1 impact player (Calvin Johnson), who is in the top 5 recievers in the league...even w/ an aweful QB.

Warner would be a good choice to have to help Kyle Orton and educate him. I don't care how bad of a season he had at the end of th eyear...he looked GREAT for the first few games (against legit defenses). I think bears should sign a FA "old man" QB to help teach Kyle Orton. he's proven he's ready to learn and willing to fight for a starting job. Donovan McNabb, Kurt Warner, anybody old w/ tons of experience would be a good choice

Rod Marinelli officially the Assistant Head Coach (assistant to the head coach)/Defensive line coach

should be a lot of drama...he's getting payed more than Babich...haha

also,
rumors are buzzing about Byrom LEftwitch coming to Chicago...not bad in my opionion...he'd be a good veteran backup

Interesting... I am not a Bears fan and I used to like Lewftwich... If I were the Bears, I think that I would look to fill voids in other areas first rather than go after another backup QB... Unless Grossman is gone...

The real fix would be a true #1 wide receiver....I believe the Bears lead the league in drops!

I hope they're going first round for a WR
get somebody...a playmaker type guy who can be a long term.

think of this:
RB: Forte
TE: Olsen
WR: some young prospect,

that's three VERY good weapons for ANY QB.
I'm still w/ Orton, I think he'll be a great QB, just needs someone to help him that doesn't have his head between his buttcheeks (Grossman).

letwitch could be a great choice, as the McNabb thing seems to be going to be mroe and more expensive w/ this playoff run they're on (go eagles). I wouldn't mind Leftwitch one bit...good chance for Orton to learn
