Big Article on BU and Area Recruiting

One slight correction- The first player listed:
In 2001 Coach Jim Les got a huge steal by nabbing Marcellus Sommerville, a Peoria Central standout that had been courted by many high major schools. It would prove as a great get as Sommerville was an All-Conference performer and is enjoying a successful professional career.

But Jim Les did not become coach at BU until April, 2002. Marcellus went to Iowa in 2001. After leaving Iowa and spending a year at a juco, Sommerville finally came to Bradley in 2003.

oh no...you are going to restart those false rumors that Les tampered with Sommerville!

I had understood, that BU lasted all the way to being in Matt Roth's final two...
and the comment that.... "Of the 6 scholarship post players on the Braves??™ roster, three return with good experience, one being a senior in Sam Singh."

Sam Singh is the only one with what might be called "good" experience...and even then he's only been used as a backup.
Taylor Brown and Will E. are actually kinda inexperienced, but I can't disagree with your overall assessments.

Good article...although I thought Brownfield went to Western Illinois not Northern Iowa and I really doubt BU was very close in getting DJ Richardson......

Very nice article. Although, I think we need to start being talked about with the Creightons before we can be talked about with the Butlers and Gonzagas. ;)

I agree, thank god they didn't use that worn out over used copy cat "Les is more" phrase.

:-P:-P:lol::lol::lol: LOL FUNNY!!!

Ok now on to the article. To me it is dead on and it seems there are others that really like the direction of the program at this time.

I agree 100 percent, I saw Jim on the channel 47 auction the other night and there is no doubt the guy absolutely loves Bradley.
