Bradley down 4-2 in the 9th with 2 outs, hit a 3-run homer to go ahead 5-4. In the bottom half, Indiana State made some bad baserunning decisions which buried them. Bradley wins 5-4.

Bradley, like Missouri State is n the semifinals...
a win tomorrow over whoever advances out of the InSU/DBU game puts Bradley in the Championship game Saturday night (7pm)
But even if BU loses today's game, they still are alive as they'd have to lose again in a Sat. morning game before elimination.
 
BU baseball team is now 1 step away from qualifying for the NCAA tournament as they beat Dallas Baptist 3-1. Junior starting pitcher Cameron Roegner had his best performance in a BU uniform as he went a career high 8 innings and gave up just 1 run on 5 hits. BU got on the board with 1 in the 1st but Dallas Baptist came back to tie the game in the 2nd. BU would score the go ahead run in the 4th as Spencer Gaa scored from 2nd on a wild pitch. After the 4th inning Dallas Baptist got just 1 more hit. Closer Matt Dennis, who pitched 3 innings in their game against ISU Blue on Thursday, retired the side in order in the 9th for his 12th save. BU is in the championship game for the 1st time since 1996 and with a win would clinch their 1st NCAA Regionals apperance since 1968. The other team in the championship game is still to be determined between Missouri State and Wichita State. Wichita is leading 3-2 in the top of the 5th inning and if they keep that lead then these 2 will play again at 3PM on Saturday with the winner facing the Braves around 7PM Saturday night. IF MSU wins tonight they will face BU at 7PM on Saturday. All the games are available on ESPN 3.
 
I'm really glad that Elvis wasn't run out of town after last season. I know that a lot of people were proponents of making the change.

Bradley played Missouri State 3 times this season and lost all three, 2-0, 9-2, and 9-4


I think this reflects a completely different attitude and environment in the Bradley Athletic Dept. compared to much of the past 5-6 years...
This is what Bradley fans have wanted - and I believe we are going to see this in basketball as well...
Kudos to the BU baseball team - now go get that Championship..
 
The weekend weather forecast in Wichita in horrible and today's championship game time has been changed to 2:04 p.m. in an effort to play inside a supposed window of opportunity. The game will be carried live on ESPN3
 
You could see this coming - today's championship game start time is now officially TBA. An update is not expected before 3 p.m. #WeatherDelay
 
Update: The teams are being asked to report to the Eck Stadium indoor facility at 5 p.m. so they are on site in the event the weather breaks after 7 p.m. Stay tuned.
 
We are now officially postponed tonight and targeting a 9:04 am first pitch Sunday from Eck Stadium. The game still will be streamed live on ESPN3.
 
Probably not a bad thing to get a day's rest, especially for our closer Matt Dennis, who has pitched 4 innings in the last 2 days. Go get em guys!
 
Game tied now 2-2 after Bradley took an early 2-0 lead..in the 6th inning..

Bradley needs this win - with a soft schedule much of the season Bradley is on the border for any at-large consideration
 
Missouri State takes 3-2 lead in the 7th - still batting

edit now 4-2 - things have unraveled a bit since Elliott Ashbeck was taken out - he pitched 4 innings, allowed no earned runs
BU now bringing in closer Matt Dennis in the 7th
