Bradley vs Duke

This is as beatable as Duke has been in years...

"Beatable" is relative. Duke has an 85% winning percentage at home under Coach K, and they virtually never lose to non-conference foes.

I believe their non-conference winning streak at home is now at 76 games straight, the longest such streak in the country. The last time they lost at home to a non-conference team was February 26, 2000 to St. John's, well more than 10 years ago..

Yes...very relative term. Oh well. I'll take my chances.

I know Scheyer, and Zoubek were srs but did they loose anyone to the draft?

Singler pulled out of the draft, and Nolen Smith is returning- both will be seniors. They lost only Scheyer, Lance Thomas, and Zoubek, who were seniors.

I thought Nolan Smith was a senior. My mistake on that. Not quite as beatable now, but I still embrace the challenge. I want a game like this every year!

Jim Les is the man when it comes to scheduling....NO ONE can argue with that. Unbelievably exciting! Great job JL and Bradley, now lets get a huge W and earn some national attention early!

I know all the details aren't out yet, but is this a 3 year series, or just a 1 time deal?

I think Jim Les has done a great job scheduling. His predecessor did as well. I think one thing BU has done very well over the past 20 years is schedule. Think of all the names we've played going back to the mid-90's - Michigan, Villanova, Illinois, DePaul, Iowa, Michigan St, Oklahoma St, UNLV, USC, Florida, Vanderbilt...I am sure I am forgetting some, but the BU program has certainly strived to play the best teams more often than not. This year appears to be no different!

So, will Bradley get any tickets for this game? If so, how does Bradley go about selling tix for non-conf away games? Does anyone get priority?

Just curious because I actually live in Charleston, SC. Not a terrible drive from Durham.

Awesome work on the scheduling front. I'd like to have at least one game like this every season even if there's no return game.

Those are some BIG losts, no matter how anyone wants to spin it:!: Duke will be rated, thats a sure thing:| It's a great get for BU:!: Now all BU has to do is make a game of it, if not win:!: Remember there is God's land and then there is Dukes and Coach K's Land:!: Both are for winners but just maybe, if we get some inside game, we go home a winner and lower their home winning % just a little:D Great Job JL and others:D

Good Job to the dogsrus, Our inside Man:D
How's the golf man:doubt:

Yes, Bradley will get some tickets, but probably not many. And yes, there will be a priority, as there is for tickets to any event.

And I believe it is a one-time game.

Don't forget that Duke has Seth Curry and both Plumlee's coming back....
If there is ever a game where we need to go BIG this is it!:!::!::

This is great!

I wonder if we know anyone in NC who can hook any of us up for this game?

;)

Hey man, I'm gonna work on every connection I know..... including people who I know belong to the Iron Dukes (Duke's club for the very wealthy contributors). If all else fails I'll pay most any price through StubHub or other outlets.

Will I be at this game? Book it! :) :)

They have McDonalds ALL Americans....are guys are All Americans that eat at McDonalds.

Go BU...

I love this quote dogs! :) It really made me laugh.

Oh, and Duke WILL be good next year. I think they will be a preseason Top 10-15..... and it will be justified, IMO.

As a fan, this is awesome!!!

As someone with ties to the University, this is going to cost a lot of $$$. Hopefully this bet pays off in March or with future recruiting, otherwise it's just money down the drain.

I'm guessing were getting paid at least decently in this event...
