Braves win 68-59!!!!!

would just like to say that by chanting "overrated" and then storming the court basically is saying "we are bad and we beat you!" It was very embarrassing and i would hope that Bradley fans would have a little bit more dignity than that! Can we act like we have won a big game before? Or can we atleast act like we expected to win this game which was very winnable for us!!!!

I would give the gameball to C-Rob for coming to play and not backing down today. He looked pretty good going to the basket today - hasn't gone well for him all year in doing that. He made some nice hoops in the 1st half to keep them in the game. Then he hit a clutch fade-away to halt the UNI run with about 3 to go.
Great D as usual. Pretty solid D all around by BU!!!

Thought the overrated chant was stupid but how bout some props for the crowd? Most everyone I saw was standing all of the second half. Was a great atmosphere. My non BU friend thought it was hilarious
how everyone would groan and say no every time SS got the ball though

BuB.....Is he the ref they call "BAYWATCH"?

That name sure fits this guy. Not sure I have ever seen a referee groupie but I suppose they are out there.:lol: Maybe thats why he likes Peoria:cool: It seems like we have had him alot at home recently.

How about that swat on jordan eglseder? That was IMO the play of the game. Really set the tempo for the second half.

Haha we still laugh at the game when EM had the ball at the top of the key and lined up like he was gonna pop it and it was pretty quite and you could distinctly hear a nnooooo from the student section.

It all comes down to the knowledge of the student section. Some kids come to act like the stereotypical student section...but don't really know anything about their team. The paint themselves...lead chants....jump up and down and say "ooooooooooooooo". but they really don't have a clue what it going on in the game or what the game means. I prefer to analyze the game and figure out what each team is thinking rather then act like a lunatic.

I agree with the rushing the court. One of my friends was trying to convince me to do it because well...he sits up in the front...and I was begging them not to do it because we NEED to expect to win these games...it shouldn't be an upset. Some of the people I was with did go but I didn't feel the occasion called for it.

It was a great game and a great half of basketball. Held them scoreless the first 4 minutes of the 2nd and towards the end of the game we didn't run around on offense like chickens with our heads cut off. Excellent job. NOW PLEASE can we do this consistently??!! I'm begging.

And I won a bet on this game....good day!

did anyone think as a whole (esp CR) we were taking the ball to the basket. CR was doing damage because he was hitting he FT's or finishing. He can get a look at a high percentage shot under the basket when ever he wants nearly.

TB didn't have a huge night offensively compared to his standards, but he did a great job on koch. That guy is a match up nightmare, I was expecting him to drop 20-25 on us today. The help side D on Eglseder in the second half was great too. We really won this game on defense hands down.

Great Call T!

Great Call T!

T---You were 100% correct in your prediction prior to the game. Congratulations. Maybe I should take you with me on my next trip to Vegas!

Future Walk-on, you and I may not see eye to eye on a bunch of things but we agree on this. If we had the crowd that we had against ISU then at least storming the court would've been worth it but with 40 students that just was horrible. We lost to this team by a three by Moran at the end of the game last year and after losing by two against this team at their place, this was very winnable anyways and storming the court was not necessary

I don't have a big problem with storming the court in general. However, I'll give you one big reason why we shouldn't have done it today: 13-12!

If we are 3-22 and have no hope of going anywhere, fine. If we are 20-5 and this clinches us an at-large spot, fine. And if this was Duke or Michigan St., two teams that are much more likely to win a national championship than (with no disrespect intended) Northern Iowa, also fine. But not after embarrassing home loses to SIU, CU and ISU red, not to mention Loyola and W. Carolina!

This was a great win for the program and historic only in the sense that it has never happened at Carver Arena which is admittedly shocking. But this is still only one game and we have yet to show we can put together a big run. In my opinion, ISU blue, Drexel and WSU are all equally if not more important to win now that we took care of UNI. Let's see where this team is at before our final game at Omaha, and by then we should have a good idea if we can make a big run in St. Louis.

I hope Bradley and their fans enjoy this win, as they should. But now let's get prepared for our trip to Terre Haute on Tuesday. :)

Thank you. :) I'm very proud of this team that they beat such a high quality team as Northern Iowa today. But we are still the textbook average, mediocre team until proven otherwise. Most .500 teams win games that maybe they aren't expected too from time to time, and lose more games that they should win. Average that out and you get a .500 record.

If we win the Valley tournament in St. Louis, I say storm the court all you want! But not until then.
