I had read on another board that CR traveled...after looking at the replay twice it looks like he did but what ref would even think to call it at that point of the game
 
That was awesome I still cant beleive it went in everyone thought we lost by the faces but I lost my voice on the way to the car and i just went crazzzzzzyyyy:):p;):D:rolleyes::-D:mrgreen:

Poor guy. I think this will be his own personal Waterloo. A win would have meant the world for that program. Thank God it wasn't to be...... You now have my respect Oakland :)

I thought he had traveled when I saw it, but the replay shows two steps and a shot. It was legit!

Also, there was no way it took him over a second to get it off after he caught it.
 
How ironic that it was CR taking the last shot!?! He took so much guff for taking late game shots with the lead! I guess he was just getting in some extra practice!:-D
 
This is one of those games where 5,500 of us were in attendance... Tomorrow around the water cooler, about 50,000 will say they were there ;)
 
Comcast Sports-Nite just talked about the CIT and Bradleys Chris Roberts hitting a 75' shot...but they would have no-video and want one to show it! :o

I was just on the Oakland message board and saw a couple of fans who are persistent in thinking they got hosed. What can you say. Even if CR did travel what ref in their right mind would reverse that, no matter which team made that shot? This poster also claimed their coach protested the game, but again, don't expect anything to come out of that. I don't recall any time in any sports league the outcome of a game being reversed.

Unfortunately there was also a poster who called himself a Bradley fan that posted a real low class post telling their fans to get over the loss since it's just the CIT! Maybe so, but it is a BIG deal for those teams that normally have no shot at postseason from conferences like theirs. Plus even for us, the CIT has turned out to be a very competitive tourney.

Anyway, I had to respond to this person, but I doubt he posts here with the name he used. I don't think he would last too long on here anyway! :D

I agree with you. Refs aren't looking for a travel with a second left...

Can't balme the Oakland fans for complaining either, especially after losing their league championship on shot with a couple secons left.
I'm sure we would be doing the same thing if we were on the road
