BU 91 Indiana State 85

Mine too! Into thin air!

I guess it's OK for Will to post something on twitter that slams the fans...but it's not OK for us to simply repost what he has posted in a public forum here...funny.
I'm curious what message board 'law' that has broken that would cause it to get deleted...

I thought there were a few times that we tried to get the team going in the second half....certainly more than the last few games....

I understand you're all getting at the "don't bite the hand that feeds you" type of message... but...

I don't see how Will is entirely in the wrong here. YES, they blew a big lead, but he's expressing that he's never been boo'd before and that its surprising to him. And that its disappointing. I think a lot of people here agree. Not that anyone doesn't have the right to boo (you do, you paid for a ticket, do what you want!) but it should also be disappointing to the team.

Wouldn't it be worse if they LIKED getting boo'd? :)

I agree. Even TB said on the postgame show that if the crowd isn't going to pick them up when they need it, then they have to start doing it themselves. Probably not exactly what he said, but pretty close! I believe after they....errrrrr......I mean JL ........got boo'd at the end of the SIU game, they probably do feel like they need to be even tighter and pick themselves up. I don't have a problem with that comment. Paying fans have a right to boo if that's the way they want to "support" their team at the games and the players have a right to feel like they need to do more "picking up" for themselves.

Great post. Yes, they have to pick themselves up and not depend on others. That is correct, and that is life. Winning teams pick themselves up, whinning teams complain about the fans not picking them up.

Btw hope everyone is careful tonight. I decided to stay here for the night in a hotel it and drive back in the am...After this game and it going late and then the weather issues, I didn't feel quite like the three hr drive.

Good call STL, awesome you make it from St. Louis too! Hopefully you don't have work in the morning...

The good news...a win.
We were very, very fortunate that Indy State lost Lathan to an injury early in the second half and that Kelly was out...Finally the injury thing swings in our favor...

Dismal second half efforts continue...I guess we'll just need to find a way to get up 30+ at half if we plan on having any comfortable wins at home...yikes!

Gee, I was just trying to lighten things up with my David Copperfield joke about posts disappearing. Was my grammer wrong? Come on let's not be so serious. OK. Sorry if I violated some rule. :?

I better not come back because most of what I normally write on other boards I am a part of are one-liners. Maybe it's my "jr." member status...
