BU recruit 2014- Josh Cunningham

"....... the announcement will now be made next week, possibly on Monday, but that??™s not definite at this point. ..

"possibly Monday" has become - definitely not Monday...
now a few hours ago - a report says...
"expected to announce this week, but Nick Irvin said they have yet to set a day."

then this - now no longer even promising this week...
"Josh Cunningham of Chicago tells us no date for his announcement has been set."

This type of arrogant, it's all about me, behavior is becoming all too common for some of of these young men. Lebron James modeled this behavior with his ridiculous "I'm taking my talents to South Beach" drama as he strung out the obvioius for weeks. Silly gamesmanship...

This is a 18 year old young man trying to make a big decision in his life. He has a 100 people wispering in his ear to do this or do that. I think calling him arrogant is a little off base considering you have no idea what is going on with this kid. If he was arrogant he would have taken the highest school offer and been done with it and some folks on here would of said he made a mistake and he overshot and how much better he would have been at BU.

You may be right, and if that's the case my comment was harsh. This could simply be a young man wrestling with angst about a big decision.

But I think you hit the nail on the head with too many people trying to influence him. I understand he is very close to his mother, who is an intelligent and successful woman, and that works in Bradley's favor. I am not saying Josh will pick Bradley, I'd actually be surprised if he does, but hopefully in the end, he listens to the people who are more interested in him than themselves.

Anyone "in" on espn.com? Under college basketball recruiting they have an update titled, Top Undecided staff predictions. It would be interesting to know what they say about Josh?

That article was from last Tuesday when we thought josh was going to announce that Wednesday still and before he visited St. John's this last weekend. At the time they had 5 experts predicting with 2 predicting South Carolina and 2 predicting Indiana. The final guy predicted bradley. Nothing was too noteworthy on their predictions or insights. No insider information as far as I could tell.

(John) Stovall: Bradley
Cunningham has some versatility offensively and has improved this season. He started last summer as a mid-major recruit and is now being recruited by several high-majors. I think this one comes down to Bradley and South Carolina. I think the choice is the one that has been there from the beginning: Bradley.

This is the only guy to pick BU.

Joel Francisco was the only other one to even mention Bradley. He said:
The decision could come down to immediate playing time at Bradley or slowly garnering more and more minutes as the season goes on at Indiana. I see him choosing the more high-profile program and signing with the Hoosiers.

a premium story on one of the Indiana sites confirms & restates that one reason Josh Cunningham is "shopping" so much....
is because of his demands that he play only a wing position and he not be required to play the post -
so he's kinda waiting to see who all else everyone gets to fill their rosters so he can see that there is plenty of post depth
& that he won't be asked to do what he does not want to do.

Nice......245 people on the board for the announcement......this might help put some life back into the program! :D

We may have 4 of 5 starters being newcomers next season.
We needed a new, fresh look.
Time to get excited about next season!
