BU recruit- class of 2014- Peyton Allen

I would love for Bradley to offer Shea Feehan (PND) a preferred walk-on spot. Kid is a knock down distance shooter. Can handle the ball, tough & savy and can guard. Needs to add strength, but that will come in college. Would be great roll player and needed sniper from outside.

JUST MY OPINOIN!

Coach Jim Molinai of WIU was in Peoria watching Shea Feehan play....
interesting comment that Coach Mo makes about still reading the Peoria news.....

Peyton Allen's official visit to Tennessee has been canceled due to weather. He will reschedule his visit for later in Feb

Tennessee pretty regularly lands some pretty athletic 4-Star & 5-star studs, and shooting guards...so Allen may stand a better chance of playing right away at a mid-major
but they do have a commitment from Peyton's good friend Larry Austin, Jr. so they might have an inside track.

North Carolina Head Coach Roy Williams is interested in Peyton Allen, has been in contact, and may be planning on making a trip to watch him play.

With all the high-major interest that Peyton Allen has been getting recently, he now apparently wants to go to a high-major and unlikely to consider any of the mid-majors that have offered.

I agree - Allen, tho, reminds me a little of Devan Bawinkle..
6-5 SG from a school that doesn't consistently play the top competition...but when he went to a big school he just couldn't defend their athletic opponents - ended up being surprised by such little PT
Hope he chooses wisely and doesn't end up spending a few years on the bench

All these kids in high school need to take a realistic look at themselves and see where they fit. But they look way over there heads and then are disappointed

Speaking of which....there may be a couple more Illini transfers we can add this year also if we want to go that route again..

Transfers that have to sit out a year might not be in Ford's plans this year. Bradley needs recruits that can contribute next year.
