BU vs. Creighton Friday, March 5, 2:35 pm

The audio will be streamed! You can get the stream from BU.TV or the Valley's web-site.

And when in doubt (or your work computers suck, a la mine!) just search Google for "WMBD 1470 live stream" and you can find some different sites. My work one doesn't let me access MVC's website, or bu.tv... and doesn't have Flash installed so I couldnt get it from WMBD's site. But this one worked:

My co-workers will look at me funny when I start yelling at 2:35 :)

Dave Reynolds' MVC notebook-
http://www.bradleyhoops.com/homepag...ook-Redbirds-set-up-for-a-deep-tournament-run

Dave reported this-
Ticket sales down: All-session tickets to this year??™s tournament, totaling 6,335, are down 13 percent from last year??™s figure of 7,246 and 22 percent below the all-time high of 8,141 of 2008.
Valley officials point to the flagging economy and competitively down years by some traditionally well-supported schools.
Creighton has shown the biggest decline, down from 1,744 to 1,125. Others showing big dropoffs are Bradley (from 924 to 600), Illinois State (from 1100 to 850), Drake (from 500 to 225), Evansville (from 300 to 180) and Southern Illinois (from 1100 to 1000).
Teams on the upswing are Wichita State (from 687 to 990), Northern Iowa (from 407 to 757) and Missouri State (from 380 to 500).

This makes sense. Aside from some economic issues, the three teams that went up in ticket sales are the three that have improved the most from last year. Economy or not, I'm predicting a much stronger year next year as this conference will hopefully produce three or four teams in at-large contention.

I hope we are in the same boat! Made me laugh.

" "Altman was asked if he's concerned his team might be overlooking Bradley since it already has beaten the Braves twice.

“I don't think overconfidence has been a problem with this team all year,” he said, laughing. “When you're 16-14, you don't have to worry about that too much.” "

And if overconfidence is still a problem with any of his players, Altman certainly won't let them get that way!

As far as we are concerned, let's just put the regular season behind us and hope we can play with the defensive tenacity and talent that we are capable of. Let's just worry about today's game and then we can prepare for tomorrow's rematch with UNI, a team that does not want to face us again!

Go Braves! :D
