St. Johns would be lucky to get him. I don't see why he would want to get into the mess there. GT seems like a better job to me, and he's paid well at GT. I wouldn't be surprised in the end if this is a move to get an extension and raise from GT, rather than a serious interest in getting the St. John's job.

He just got an extension from GT, one that has a nice hefty 7 million dollar buyout...

I'm in agreement but how about Bobby Cremins? That I could see if he gets some decent assistants to do the groundwork. He did recruit NY very well while he coached at GT.

I don't see Bobby getting back into a big time job again...

He seems very happy coaching a mid.

That is why I put the caveat of some good assistants to do the groundwork. Also it would not surprise me to see someone wanting the limelight again and becoming a hometown savior. There is no better place then NY in being a winner (the draw) and probably no worse place then being a loser, on the other side.

Reports that Howard University has fired Gil Jackson.

How long before someone starts a thread that Bradley should hire Gil Jackson as an assistant?

Georgia Tech gives St. John's permission to talk to Paul Hewitt.............

Rumors were flying that GT was not to happy about Hewitt's run there. This does not surprise me.

DC is a hot bed of recruiting!;-)

Hewitts has had problems with the local media that is pretty well documented. I think he is the classic case of to much success to early and hasnt been able to match it(which is why im surprised Billy D didnt even consider). A fresh start for everyone involved might be due.

This is not meant to offend but..... GT wants to treat Hewiitt as though it's still the pre-Civil Rights era; like he's the house*&^^@#. He will never get the respect and treatment he deserves in Atlanta. Given the chance he will move on IMO.
