MVC Release

Here's the key info regarding television. The link provides some history on the event and the NCAA Tournament performances of the participating teams:

The eighth annual BracketBusters event, a two-day men's college basketball extravaganza pitting potential NCAA Tournament hopefuls against each other Feb. 19-20, will feature 11 nationally televised games - on either ESPN2 or ESPNU -- selected from a pool of 98 teams.

For the fifth straight year, ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network, will televise five BracketBusters games while ESPN2 will televise six contests. The 11 BracketBusters matchups will be announced Feb. 1, while game time and network assignments will be announced Feb. 8.

By the way- I noticed that my Comcast cable package now includes ESPNU. It was recently added without much fanfare (at least I didn't know I had it until I stumbled upon it recently).
For most Peoria area Comcast customers, ESPNU is available on Comcast cable channel 511. If you have the sports package, you may already have it.

Actually, this year ESPN re-negotiated or required most cable/satellite providers to get ESPNU added to the more basic packages (with the option of bumping ESPN Classic into the sports tier ESPNU used to occupy) So now I also get ESPNU on my standard DirecTv choice package (Still on ch 614, I believe)!

Unfortunately ESPNU is not on Comcast basic cable yet, only the digital cable GRRRRRRRRRrrrr.

Whoa.... Just noticed the MVC has 7 HOME Games in the BracketBuster. WOW! We BETTER have a winning record in this thing this year!
