BENCH LEMONNNNNNNNNN. Pretty much 10 turnovers and cost us the game. Loved watching Bell the other night.

We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in that final minute...
another game where we shoot only 36%....shot selection is a problem when we have guys who hit under 30% on 3-pointers taking so many every game...
.....but at least we aren't getting blown out -
Let's hope for Christmas we get the rest of the season without ever seeing 10 TO from our pg
I agree. Our defense keeps us in and gives us a chance in games like this, but I think we have enough of a sample size to know that the shooting just isn't going to come along this year.
Unfortunately, we'll probably lose a few more games that we could win if we could either make a clutch shot or not miss free throws in the last minute of a game.
That's fine, but we did not finish the job last night. Even with the missed free throws, if we don't turn the ball over, we have a shot of at least hanging on. Plus a better night by WL would have compensated our lack of shooting. Not putting all the blame on him, but these things tend to get magnified when there isn't that much margin for error. Oh well, let's win tonight and go home 9-3. I don't think too many people predicted that!
You do also make a good point Gary regarding that will probably have more games like this during the Valley season. That's why even with a win last night, that would not have guarenteed anything in regards to making an NCAA Tournament or NIT run. That said, 10-3 in the non-conference season (includes a win tonight and in the Bracketbuster) combined with a 9-9 Valley record would probably get us into the NIT. I may be getting ahead of myself here, but I'm saying .500 in the Valley would probably be a reasonable goal, whether it's obtainable or not.
I won't dispute your hopes, but I'll be surprised if we win more than 7 conference games.
