I just watch this and get sad thinking about what "that woman" did to JL when he was coach.

Although he seems very happy at UC Davis, so glad for that.
 
He is quite happy there - spent much of his life working in that area, many friends, and his kids have careers there.
His compensation is on par with much of the MVC (~$500K) - I doubt we will ever see him back here again in the future.

I understand we would have probably lost him at some point. Honestly, if the team had continued to struggle up to the end of his contract, I would have said it was time for someone new - them's the breaks.

But for a Bradley legend to have been treated in such a fashion, with only three years left on his contract, and then to hire a coach who arguably made things worse, is beyond the pale.

Even claimed she had sufficient donor support to buy him out when she had no such thing. Then she tried
to stiff Les and refuse to pay him until she was forced to back down with legal threats.
Then she was stuck trying to hire when the first dozen candidates who were invited either flatly refused or came and
left and said "no, thanks", despite the offer to triple their salary!. She finally dipped low enough to lure Geno who had never been to the NCAA, and
ran slipshod all over established rules, precedent and laws to get him- thus entangling Bradley in lawsuits
for the next decade costing millions.

Huge game to get back into the heated race for 1st place!

A week ago after the thumping in Normal, I think most of us were close to giving up hope for a Valley championship let alone a Top 4 finish.
