Considering these decisions are made 3-4 years in advance, well, yeah. Wichita got in frankly on the strength of the '06 season. Maui is an animal upon itself.

Austin Peay coach bemoans terrible schedule as just "part of life for a mid-major"..
with all the guarantee games, road games, and no home appearances before Dec. 7
They do visit SIU........

Looks like isu has landed another home game......
Nov. 17 vs. Tennessee State
....and the beat goes on.......
...
DU - .....Texas Southern....
You're right..but check their schedule.....
just how many 300+ RPI opponents is one team allowed to have??
It appears South Dakota had 20 opponents at 300 or higher and four more that were D-II's, plus two more than were 275+!
Lisbeth Salander. Wouldn't want to date her but would love to date her....ya know what I mean?
Thankfully I live in a city with GREAT independent/art movie theatres. Saw the second this past weekend. Better than the first (as was the book).
Now back to your regularly scheduled post.
Iowa State releases their schedule...
they play THREE valley teams, Drake, UNI, and Creighton..

Nebraska has released their entire schedule for their final year in the Big 12...
and I really had to laugh....it appears as though they made every effort to schedule the entire SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference)!!
Now, first, be it known that the SWAC is BY FAR the worst and weakest conference in D-I basketball...(not counting the independents and the D-II transitionals)
Their conference RPI is fully 50% below the next weakest conference (the MEAC)..
that same difference - (a 50% difference in RPI) encompasses the entire top 16 conferences.
In other words, the 16th ranked MAC with it's RPI of .4744 is within 50% of the ACC (.9007 - all numbers per Pomeroy)
and thus closer to the #1 spot, than the SWAC at #32 is to the next conference above them, the MEAC.
But Nebraska not only schedules Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Jackson State, Alcorn State, and Grambling -- they also threw in North Dakota, Savannah State, Eastern Washington, and South Dakota!!!
Honestly, this schedule is NOT going to prepare them for the Big 12 season....
