Indiana State 80-BU 66

We have no scorers to speak of and were turning the ball over at an alarming rate when we cut it to 22-17...

Just plainly the team we saw last week never made it to Terre Haute and sadly, this will be at least 0-2 come Sat.
 
Did we learn anything from last year's game in Terre Haute?
They chuck 3's - and they're pretty efficient.
We are not a confident bunch right now.
We need to penetrate and take shots under control instead of floaters and double-clutch shots.
Let's dwindle the lead in the 2nd half to feel good about something.
 
:eek: Indiana State is much better than I could ever have imagined. That was a great run-and-gun up-tempo half that they played, wherever they were picked to finish I think they got picked too low. We definitely weren't ready to play them. Maybe we do better in the second half. Go Braves!

If we stopped them every time down the floor from here on out, we still couldn't win this game...

Will scores 4 straight and while he picked up his 3rd foul, he shouldve been left in...

This game is already out of hand...

Besides Drew, where have all the shooters gone?!

I'll just say we have many injuries and excuses and the crowd and refs are really effecting our ability to run our offense. We are really working very hard and it is a shame that we aren't winning this game. I also heard the coach has the flu but he is coaching thru it!

They lost by 30 to that mighty basketball power Wyoming...the same Wyoming who lost by 16 at home to North Florida, and who also lost to South Dakota, Northern Colorado, and UC Irvine.

Sorry I wouldn't use how a team plays against us as any barometer as to how good they might be.......
 
Eastern probably could of beat us again but whatever, season is lost anyways.

Did Walt get hurt in the 1st half? I only caught a few minutes of it but don't believe I saw him at all the last 15 minutes of the game. Sure could of used his spark on offense at times.

Greg Lansing is in his first year at ISU as head coach and will probably be hired away like so many other MVC coaches.
 
1st Valley game on the road with a young team! What did you guys expect? I went shopping/exchanging gifts with my GF while listening to Snell on my Droid. I thought I'd take care of 2 painful things at the same time. I expect our guys to play much better at home.

Did you watch the end of the game? Walt was in and playing like his usual wild bronco self. He looked fine.

Playing BU may have that affect on other Valley teams they play this year as well.

We will know BU is in for a long season if other Valley Teams start rescheduling their Homecomming games to BU...
