since the figures from squirrel are probably based on pre-season rosters....
While the data is pulled from that, if an individual does not play in any contest, they are not calculated.

I dont know about metrics etc.
But I will tell you this...This team can't possibly be young every year. Its sort of ridiculous.
Someone that is on the youth bandwagon. Please tell me when they were last "mature" or "old"
nothing is going to happen plus I see no way we finish top 5 of the league because we have virtually no bench, I do not believe in the our guys will be tired if they play too many minutes a game theory as years ago before there were tv. time outs the best players never came out unless they were in foul trouble, these guys are 18-23 years old and should be able to play 40 minutes if needed , by using the 4 minute game time outs and using the bench ones that you get there is no reason why players need more rest and especially for this team as our production drops off too much after our 7th man.Agreed.
Should anything happen if those expectations aren't met?
If you go back to page 2 of this thread with people trying to explain away the poor road performance, the 'youth' excuse was brought out. Unfortunately, Indiana St is significantly younger than our Braves according to squirrel's metric.
(Also, I may be wrong, but I don't think squirrel's metric counts SM and TB, as squirrel mentioned that adding TB wouldn't change it much.)
And we do have one of the oldest, most experienced teams in the league. The metrics and age prove that. Is there any other team with a soon-to-be 24 year old point guard and a 23 year old shooting guard? :-o

So Sam is counted...but really the argument is not the data here, because it proves my point, that we are not one of the most experienced teams in the Valley...
ok now its age and not experience...

I am looking for those other older guards for you...but one team in the valley has two 6'8" inside players that are 23 and soon to be 24 yrs old...how old are ours? 19? and 21 almost 22.
uhhh...I lost track -- what were the arguments?
Negative vs. positive. Same argument since 2002.
After reading both arguments, it is abundantly clear that BBrave has made the convincing undisputable argument and not even the biggest kool aid drinkers on this board can deflect his thorough analysis. Judge fanatic rules in favor of Bbrave and we can now close this discussion. Lets win a game tomorrow night
The problem is BB thinks I am making an excuse....I am not...just stating that he is wrong with his assurtion that we are one of the oldest most experienced teams in the Valley...when we are in reality in the middle of the pack and maybe just a shade below middle...
BB why did we lose to Ind St? Just my opinion:
1. To many early turnovers against a team that was shooting lights out.
2. WE got into foul trouble and when AT was in, he was the only big playing..wasn't pretty.
3. Zone D wasn't working all that well..
No excuses...just an opinion...
Or Fact v Fiction. Whichever you like.
Whatever gets you through the night. It's more like fiction vs. fiction. Negative spin, positive spin, somewhere in the middle lies the truth.
