ISU for real?

As much as it pains me to say it, after watching ISU smoke Creighton by 20, ISU is a very good team.

It is a shame that they have played such an easy schedule until now because after watching them tonight, I think they would have a great record even if they had played a much tougher schedule. Whenever Creighton got close, ISU got hot. Eventually it became too much for Creighton and ISU just pulled away. I actually hope that ISU is ranked in the top 25 because I think they deserve it.

Tuesday is going to be a heck of a game.
 
I would hope that a BIG winner over CU and an undefeated record would put ISU in the Top 20. It's gonna be a shame that they'll only enjoy it for a few days ;)
 
I've thought ISU for real all year. It is a shame about that schedule. Here's to their brief top 25 status before we run 'em out of town. :) I really hope they do get run out of town now.
 
Well this game impressed me. I've been saying that ISU hasn't played anyone and are over-rated to people that tell me they are good. I wish they had played some people because I think they are going to represent the Valley as a ranked team and eventually the lack of experience in big games will catch them.
 
You have to give them credit. Even if you think it's a weak schedule.
They have won every game and that's all you can do. It's not the player's fault on the schedule. It should be a fun night at Carver
 
Who thinks King O will go NBA? Will he do it this year if they make the NCAA's or wait till his senior year? It does appear that ISU is going to be very hard to beat, and may have a very good chance at getting the conference title...

King O isn't good enough for the NBA yet.

Any thoughts on the opening line? BU usually gets a lot of respect at home, but ISU is undefeated. I would say ISU is favored by 4.
 
there is NO CHANCE OE goes pro after this year. he is a 6'3" slasher. he may get drafted late next year but i doubt that too. there is simply no demand for a guy his size that isn't a fantastic point guard. i know there are a few exceptions but OE is not ben gordon or daniel gibson.

If ISU's going to be ranked in the next poll, UI had better be ranked as well, although that could be up for grabs today when they play Michigan. But, I too, think ISU should be ranked. I watched them play last night, and was very impressed. They play good defense, they can shoot, and pass the ball. They seemed like a fast-paced team last night, getting the ball up the floor quickly, and making a lot of quick passes. They also have many weapons outside of just Oguchi, even Alex Rubin can shoot.

BB I'm curious too. I checked Jeff Sagarin ratings and they are only current through 1-2. They had ISU a lofty #33 @ 84.67 and BU a lowly #116 @ 75.58They are currently awarding 4.04 for home court. So that would make it 5.05 but, like I said that does not reflect their rout of #50 CU or our road win.
