It is done. I was present for the ribbon cutting last night. Very nice indeed. Entry to the club is set by the Braves Club membership rules and you can enter assuming you meet there level of membership requirments no matter what you drive.
I doubt I ever go in the Lexus room
Murph, I think you are wrong about that. Many fans could afford to give enough to go to the Braves room before it was moved to the Lexus Club. But a lot of us would rather go stand in the foyer, have a beer and talk to friends, meet new friends and discuss the game. That is, except when Quick Change is there.

Lexus must of dumped some cash into the Civic Center. I noticed that they now have Lexus banners attached to the light poles outside of the Civic Center by the new box office entrance. Welcome to Carver Arena.....brought to you by Lexus!!!???!!!
It still is the Braves Club (fka the Chiefs Club). The old Braves Club room is being eliminated for more locker rooms I believe?. The Riverman also have a club (I do not know the name) that will use the room before and after home games. I am sure many other organizations will use it around performances in the Civic Center. The room will also be available to rent when empty. These clubs will be meeting in the Lexus Club Room. All of the organizations will still be called what they always have been.
When the Civic found the location for the new clubroom at the top of the escalator in the grand hall they explored selling naming rights. The money for the 5 year naming rights comes from Lexus Corporate through a fund contributed to by the local dealer but would not have happened without Lexus of Peoria direction and approval. I assume any company could have chosen to buy the rights. Part of the agreement has banners outside also and some ads on the video boards around the whole Civic Center.
It simply is a way for the Civic Center to increase revenue and Lexus to increase brand awareness. The by-product is a very nice location for the already established Braves Club to use.
