I've noticed quite a few posts getting deleted that didn't seem to break any rules. It seems to be inconsistent to me.

I agree with 1/2 of his original statement.
 
Let's just be fair here...there is a bias in the way posts are deleted. For instance Out of Balance's post should be deleted since it does in fact break the rules of attacking other posters. The guy wants to complain about a post being deleted I'd say 50% of the people here have complained or at least asked before about why one of their posts had been deleted. Then he gets flamed and told to leave and not come back. Where's the moderating there? You don't moderate the posts that support you...? That's bias. Moderators, you should be protecting all posters from getting attacked rather than just the ones that support what you do. This is another trend I've been noticing. Just putting it in the suggestion box...take it or leave it.

Haha, well said. I have no problem with how this is monitored, but even if I did... it's not my site. All the credit in the world to DC and tornado for keeping this going the way you do. Hopefully people realize what an amazing resource this is.

As if it could/would be better somewhere else done another way. :roll:

Some of us have been around long enough to remember what it was like before this board.... and the only place to go to was at a board where ISU, SIU, and UIUC fans enjoyed hanging out with Bradley fans.... and it was moderated (and still is moderated) by MOSTLY ISU fans.

One thing about the moderating-
Though we do have a few great mods, they don't get paid, they aren't online all the time, and they don't read every post in detail. None of us have time to do that. We try to do the best we can to keep the discussions positive, and not turn into arguments and name-calling. That does happen easily and frequently on mesage boards, even when we have a pretty good group of fans here.

So if anyone feels a post is unfair, offensive, or contrary to any of our rules, simply PM me or any of the moderators, or click the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page, and we'll try to deal with them fairly.
It is almost a certainty that we won't please everyone, all the time. But as someone else said, we do the best we can, and if anyone isn't satisfied with that, they are welcome to post elsewhere or start their own site like we did.

And, please don't bring up moderating issues inside the individual topics!

B-10, yes I crossed the line, friend! Not as bad as the posts in another thread that was deleted this morning, that I was not part of!Yesterday was a bad morning, read the paper about BU's lost, the coffee maker took a crap and got orders from my wife! Not as good excuses as injuries, but mind! The above covers how I felt about what I posted:!:!

I have never seen any anti-BU bias on that site at all.

I still post there and have had zero trouble.

I have had more posts deleted on this board in 3 months than I ever had there in more than five years.

I am not complaining about this board either, just stating facts.
