We should be hearing some news on this soon...

The Challenge was back in 2009 thru 2012 with MVC members paired up vs. Mountain West Conference members....

Nothing final but the MVC Commissioner Elgin has confirmed he is in talks with people from the MWC and Elgin is confident an agreement will be reached
Currently the two conferences have similar Conference RPI's although the Valley is very slightly ahead of the MWC, so there should be some great matchups!

The Missouri Valley Conference and Mountain West Conference are currently negotiating to revive the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge series for men's basketball.
Reached Thursday, MVC commissioner Doug Elgin said the two conferences were working on an agreement, but nothing was final.
If an agreement is reached, the plan is for the series to re-launch during the 2015-16 conference season.
Elgin hopes the series can be contracted for four years....
The first weekend of December would be the most likely window for the Challenge....
Elgin said the MVC schools are motivated to make the Challenge a reality again. He indicated that the league's coaches were eager to get it done.

This would be a good thing for the MVC. Bradley needs to improve if they don't want to get matched against San Jose State or Air Force every year.
