NCAA projections

but when it comes to BCS schools, the "entire body of work" really means just a couple big wins early in the season...

How else can you explain Michigan??

They beat UCLA early on and went 1-1 against Duke, then over the final
17 games from Jan. 14 onward....they were an abysmal 7-10, even losing to cellar dweller Iowa
and having to go overtime to even beat all time miserable Indiana!!
So why all of a sudden do we ignore the entire 2nd half of the season instead of looking at...
THE ENTIRE BODY OF WORK??

THIS IS A TOTAL DOUBLE STANDARD!!

There are so many things they said that were double standard and depending on which team they talked about which one they would use to spin their bias! I thought it use to be how you finished counted far more then what you did in Nov. How did Maryland get in when they lost to Morgan State and American at home. American is a lower seed then MD?????

Michigan had 6 wins against the top 50...that's 2 more than Wisconsin had. Only 2 teams left out of the tourney had more than 3 top 50 wins...Penn State (6) and UNLV (4). Penn State lost to Wisconsin twice and played an abysmal non-conference schedule, so that was their downfall. UNLV cratered at the end of the year and finished 5th in the MWC.

Creighton lost to Drake at home...a comparable loss to Morgan State and a far worse loss than American.

You're absolutely right tornado! I don't think I can add anymore than I already said earlier.

Well you know what, as much as I wanted to see Creighton, St. Mary's and others in the tourney, I am very objective and fair, and I will also sympathize with Penn St fans too. How did they NOT get in? Six wins against the RPI top 50? How many more wins do they need?

1 more...7 total...

One win over Wisky would have done it...

PSU could have had a much better out of conference schedule is one way! Who did they beat outside of the Big Ten. The Big Ten was not great this year!

you are right Tulsa... That being said, I didnt think that Penn St deserved a bid... As it is, the Big 10 gets 2 more teams into the big dance than they deserve. And I just about threw up when Arizona was selected:eek:
