The gave Menizes only 3 years there at UNLV and he took over a disaster that was about the same as what Wardle took over here -
he had absolutely NOTHING, yet he won 20 games in the 2nd year and was 17-14 this year despite plenty of injuries.

His best player, Shakur Juiston, a senior, missed virtually the entire season with injury and should be back - he averaged 16 pt/10 rebs as a junior

Gotta think several players and signed recruits will leave...and since Juiston is a senior, if he can get his degree he will be one of the hottest transfer targets.

The AD at Tulane is Troy Dannen who just left Northern Iowa 3 years ago to take the AD spot at Tulane
...could he be looking at luring Ben Jacobson away?
The American Athletic is a bigger conference and with their football money - Tulane could be prepared to pay him even more than what he makes now...

Tulane, btw- had a 4-star kid committed - but now he's reopening his recruitment

Ohio University hires former player, former Ohio State assistant, and current Stony Brook head coach Jeff Boals. Geno Ford was named Interim Head Coach at Stony Brook pending a new coaching search.

It is expected that if Stony brook hires someone else, Ford will end up as an assistant with Boals at Ohio U.
 
There are reports the after Nebraska's season ends (they are in the NIT), they will let Him Miles go and pursue Fred Hoiberg.

Don’t be surprised if Jim Les’ name bubbles up over time at UC Berkeley (again), UCLA and Vanderbilt and Stanford. Smart schools recruiting great players that are great students.

There's a lot of contradictory reports on this. He's signed through the end of 2023 so it would probably take between $15-20M to buy him out. It's rumored that a wealthy donor has committed the money but who really knows. Maybe they're negotiating the buyout right now behind closed doors, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them give him another year.

This one is probably the most surprising to me. He has brought very good talent to Vanderbilt, but got bit by the injury bug this year. I think Bryce is a hell of a coach, and now with everything going on at Valpo, I wonder if Lottich is getting nervous at all.
 
There is talk among ISU fans that now Bryan Mullins is hired as head coach at SIU, he will hire Brendan Mullins, his brother
as one of his assistants -
Brendan Mullins is currently an assistant under Dan Muller at ISU - and before that was an assistant at UIC - LINK
 
Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter, formerly head coach at IUPUI, will reportedly become the new head coach at Tulane.
