A couple pictures from the Louisville Courier-Journal of Remy Abell from last night's game against Seneca- Eastern won 72-44 and Abell scored 17 points.

Then today (1/14), they beat a very good Seneca team 72-44 to go to 15-1. No stats are available yet.

Louisville Eastern has now appeared in the USA Today national rankings at #24 in the country.

Eastern will play tomorrow at 10:30 am EST in the semifinals of the LIT tournament against Bullitt East, which upset Jeffersontown HS.

Eastern HS beat Bullitt East this morning (sat 1/15) to advance to the championship game of the Republic Bank/Coca-Cola Louisville Invitational Tournament. The final score was Louisville Eastern 88 Bullitt East 52. Eastern will face a very good Louisville Ballard High School (18-1) tonight in the championship game at 8:00 pm (7:00 pm Central). They are currently ranked #1 and #4 in the state of Kentucky.

Remy Abell scored 18 points to help lead Eastern to their 9th straight win. They are now 16-1 and their average margin of victory in their 3 wins over very good teams in the tournament has been 32 points.

Eastern wins the Louisville Invitational Tournament with a 71-63 victory over Louisville Ballard HS in the championship game.
 
Congrats to you and your team on the Championship W' tonight Remy.....and according to FB post, Remy is MVP of the tourney! :D

Looking forward to Donivine, Remy and Sean, believe they can give us needed help , need to recruit a 6-9 j.c. post player that can help immediately (hopefully a big time scorer and rebounder ) if we are going to have any chance at contending next season this is a must, also like to see us go after a Theron type wing player that is a high school senior, we need to recruit over some of our players that have not lived up to expectations in order to get this program up to expectations because the biggest thing we lack is depth at most of the positions, after watching most of the Valley teams we are probably in 9th place depth wise.

I couldn't have said this any better. Agree 100%. Really need a JC post to go with the other 3 Frosh. If no post still looking at 4-5 game.
 
Remy Abell and Louisville Eastern HS won again tonight to go to 18-1.
Eastern beat Atherton 92-43.
 
There is no way he comes to Bradley.....it just isn't the kind of thing that happens to our cursed program.

I really wonder where Rivals will have him in their final rankings!
