Next Up Michigan State - Winnable?

I like our chances a lot better with WE playing.....but if we get hot on the 3's and maybe have a little Good Luck on our side...who knows!

Agreed.

With WE, and with our shooting finally coming around I think that we could have a chance if we sustain the shooting. However, WE will most likely not play and unless AT or TB plays to the likes of WE then MSU will also be catching us at a "good time" and shorthanded....unfortunately.

This next week of practice couldn't of come at a better time. Or do I remember from last yr that they don't have physical practice and just watch video during finals study week? Think I remember a blurb about that from last year. The defense was decent tonight, i'd like to see Taylor start at center and have them work on his defense this week. He gave up a few easy layups but other than that, he was a ball magnet. The shooting is touchy, playing at MSU is going to be very rattling to them I think since MSU stadium is filled mostly with screaming students on all sides of the court. BU going to need another hot start like tonight if they want to have a chance up in Lansing.

With WE, probably not. Without WE, no.

BTW - Saw Rob Dye today, said he's gonna try to make it over to the game at MSU, although said he was disappointed that when he called BU they didn't have any tickets left for him. :-o

Maybe reverse-psychology works.

This could be another game where everytime Bradley is mentioned (if they get mentioned) in March by the crack-pipe Drive-by Media, speerheaded by Jay Bilas.... "They lost by 30 points at Michigan St!!!!!"

I'm really not sure why this thread remains when a thread that discussed WE's injury was pulled, but whatever. As I said about the Florida game, we have no chance. Especially without our only capable post player.

I missed the deletion BB. Let me count the minutes before this one explodes and is gone. ;)

I am not aware of any posts getting deleted tonight. Maybe I missed something, but the discussion about Will's injury was mostly in the post-game thread.

I'll be there, so it would definitely make the 14 hour round trip worthwhile! On the other hand, I'm 0-8 on BU roadtrips in the past 3 seasons...

I think BU absolutely can win, but a few things have to fall into place. We need WE...without him I think our odds are much lower and it didn't look like he'll be able to play judging on how he was hurt. I don't think we can match up with Raymar Morgan...if we keep him below 10 pts, we have a chance to win. I also think we need to keep them at 5 3-pointers or fewer. If they get hot, they can be hard to stop. And we have to find a way to get an early lead. If we can get hot the way we did with ETSU, I strongly believe we have a shot to hold on and win.

Are you crazy Jason?! :o You're usually on the money but WAY off here, IMO. Taylor Brown is NOT a center. He would get eaten alive by MSU..... and would probably get hurt as well.

B4L, I know I need help, maybe Jason and I could go togather. jk Jason. I like TB too, but not at center. If it gets to that point this season is over.

Yeah, I really like TB. And I think he plays taller than he is, but he doesn't play that tall. Only options at center for us are DC, SS, and AT at this point.

DC and SS will get eaten up a lot faster than TB would . TB is averaging more rebounds per 40 mins played than any other player on the team besides TW. More than WE, more than DC and more than SS. PLus TB usually plays more on the outside. Think about what he could do if he was in postion more of the time playing that 5 position. I just think SS and DC arent even close to bein athletic and fast enough to play with Mich St. AT might be athletic and fast enough but he cant get on the floor for some reason. I think we need to pull out all the weapons on this one and try as many combos that we can to try and catch Mich St off ballance. That will be our only chance to stay in this game.

The reason TB is doing what he is doing is because he is NOT playing the 5. He would be invisible at the 5 IMO.
