Postgame thread- Bradley 65 WSU 50

I also sit near the visitors' bench, and Marshall expends all his energy from start to finish working the refs. He does it much more than Jim Les does.

And according to the Dave Reynolds column, Gregg Marshall even made a big deal of the Chris Roberts end-of-game shot in his post-game press conference.

Come on, grow up Coach Marshall. It's not the same as running a play for a lob-dunk at the buzzer in a blowout like Creighton did against them earlier in the season. If he can't see that this was not an organized action by the coaches and team he's irrational. It was one kid launching a 25 footer at the urging of the crowd.

I disagree about Marshall working them more than JL. Jim is much more brazen and direct to the refs. I have not noticed that nearly as much from Marshall or anyone in the league this year. I see the refs telling JL to settle down and getting after him more than any other coach.

However marshall should grow up. He shouldn't have said anything and just left town....he really seems slimey to me for some reason

Actually, its interesting you say this because our best + scoring difference and defensive portion of the game was when we went small going w/ Taylor, Theron, Dodie, Sammy, and Darian....

We just seem to play a better flowing game when we sit David and Sam and go smaller...not to take anything away from them, but they both slow us down. If we could find a big that can run the floor, look out.

you mean a big like WE? WE did not add a ton of stats, but the team was better.

I don't recall anybody talking about this but I saw Andrew Warren dressed as if he was playing. I didn't think he could do that if he was redshirting unless he has not officially redshirted.

No- Andrew can dress and practice with the team, and as long as he doesn't appear in a game he is still eligible for a redshirt.

Saihou Jassey dressed, practiced, and participated in the pregame warmups for every game 3 years ago, and Anthony Thompson did it last year, and both then received a redshirt year.

There were a couple big things on campus tonight. There was a "pageant" put on by one of the sororities, which is where almost all of the fraternity members were. My fraternity which usually has between 15 and 20 there had only 3.

You are telling me that the guys in your house are already taking orders from their women. That usually does not start out until you are married and pulled a full stunts. So they would rather watch some "pageant" then go to a BU game. That in itself is shameful and scheduling an event during a game is also just not right. Some would call your Frat brothers "_____" whipped!

Thanks Da Coach. I had a feeling either you or Tornado would set me straight.

Anyone hear the attendance? And KUDOS to who-ever started putting up in game stats on the end signs...those went from being a waste of money to something to watch IMO.....its nice to see the rbs-stls- 3 pt and such during the game and also being very readable!

Agreed, especially when the stats are good. :)

My question is why would he dress knowing he wouldn't play? He hadn't all season until "throwback night". And I assumed he only did then so that his jersey could be auctioned off. (game-worn) Surely it can't be for emergency purposes, right?

Right. He is still part of the team, and if his health allows, he should participate in all the allowable team activities.
I would guess that there was no intention of him playing under any circumstances.
