Ruffin out?

Sympathy pains?

No it is just frustration. It's sort of like that girl you like finally says yes to you for that first date and than in the last minute she calls to tell you that she can't go out because last night she broke curfew.

Sympathy for who????

That would be nice if Will Egolf could play....haven't heard his status for today....does anyone know if he can play?

Sorry but for any of our players to be doing anything other then sleeping at 5 30 am is so completely selfish. Go to bed and get some sleep.

Well I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag early so had to disguise it a little. This incident occurred off campus, i'm not sure if she is a student though. Unfortunately Domestic battery cases don't resolve themselves very quickly so it's likely Ruffin's career at Bradley ended at Drake and on a very bad note. I wonder if he'll still be allowed at Senior night, be kind of awkward to not have one of Bradley's all time best PG not at Senior Night. Just another unfortunate late night event, hopefully next season goes much smoother.

Here is the link to the story in the PJ Star--

As we posted earlier, it is not injury related, so I removed those posts that speculated about an injury to Daniel.
And I will ask that we not speculate about details if this until facts come out.

I applaud the BU coaches and administration for their immediate response to this situation, I believe they have reacted properly and done the right thig so far, unlike the instances we have seen where other schools bury this kind of issue until some media outlet brings it out weeks or months later, and no punishment is ever handed down.

Really DC...what choice do they have? This is really dissappointing.

Your team leader gets himself in to this kind of situation at anytime during the year but especially during the season.

It could have happened earlier! Students never get to bed on a Friday untill after 2-3 PM anyway, at least I never did unless there was a great reason to be in bed:rolleyes:. The woman probably went to the hospital to get treated and when questioned what happened the hospital is by law (in most states) required to notify the police. They than probably went to DR's apartment to inquire and than arrest him. From the time the alledge incident took place to DR being arrested could well have taken 3-4 hours.

It would be great, for THE TEAM and the fans, if Cole-Scott could bring a little of that St. Ambrose game with him the rest of the season!
Maybe, if he was told Saint Milwaukee was coming in Tonite?

As for Daniel. What a shame. I pray, that he can resolve this issue, and have a constructive journey into the future..
Once again, nothing Good happens after 11:00PM!

I use to tell my kids that all the time

Can you blame them? This board has had a lot of threads about the misfortunes, arrests, and problems with other programs through out the country.

Do you know the definition of schadenfruedes LB? I don't blame them (those that fall under its definition) I feel sorry for them....

It usually doesn't happen that way. Most Domestic arrests happen at the home and pretty soon after the incident happens. Usually if a battered women chooses not to call the police at any point before going to the hospital she's not going to start talking once she gets there.

Here is my question, what is the chance of Ruffin being reinstated anytime before the mvc tourney? Is he gone for the season?
