Could it be she was asked to leave.....she was uninvited...trespassing......does he not have a right to get trespassers off his property....could she have been a threat to him and he found it necessary to get her off his porperty?

Hopefully you are right (and that's what it sounds like) but let's not speculate too much on what happened. I don't want to condemn him or clear him. I hope for everyone's sake that it's not true, but I think that the situation will be resolved from a basketball and legal standpoint in a day or two. I also don't want Bradley to suspend someone if charges get dropped, particularly when it's a first-time offense/accusation.

I really hope that it's just some crazy girl (like the Duke case)... plenty of those out there.
 
I believe the Springfield Journal Register is owned by the same owners as the PJ Star. If that is so, then likely the Springfield story came from the stories in the PJ Star, and therefore I would not consider it an update or higher authority.
 
This is a complete rumor, so I probably should not be posting it, but there was a reputable witness at the scene with Ruffin when it happened, and this witness claims that Ruffin is innocent. We'll see how this pans out though.

Probably shouldn't be posting this, but this is the same thing I am hearing...
 
Let's not speculate more than these generalizations.
But I heard the same reports from multiple sources last night. Now well just have to trust our legal system to do the right thing.

This is exactly what I heard last night. I look forward to hearing that these charges are dropped, seeing Ruffin honored on senior night, and a seeing a restraining order placed against this woman so that this doesn't happen again. I also look forward to the tap dancing the PJ Star has to do for their irresponsible journalism in reporting the facts in this matter. Why the Springfield paper would have a more accurate story than the local newspaper is beyond me.

Come on now Scouter. You're better than that. You and I both know T gets information from multiple sources (he's kinda like the BU Drudge Report :lol: ) to help make this board what it is. If he'd not have done this many of us wouldn't know about it. Give T a break :(

No, you are wrong...
I am the one who posted about this on both boards, so I simply posted there what I posted here.
I actually spend so little time on the PJS board that I go weeks at a time never seeing that board, but
someone alerted me to such grossly unfair and incorrect info being posted there, that I felt compelled to attempt to correct their ignorance.
I am unable to post under the name "tornado" on the PJS boards, since the moderators there have locked my account.
I therefore post under a separately registered name that used to be my son's account.

I understand. I knew you had been booted from there under the name you use here. I also know you seem to have some issues regarding the PJS board, so I thought it was odd that you'd post there in the first place. And I alluded to the possibility that you had posted on both boards later in this thread after my original post.

Glad we got that straightened out.

no sooner did I post (on the PJS board) those links to the report in the Springfield paper that shows
the PJ Star left out some very vital info, and that quite possibly what DRuff was doing was just getting an unwelcome person out of his home,
then the entire discussion has disappeared from their board....axed by a mod
Talk about anti-BU censors..........
