Swinging the ball behind your head, as TCS will do (as does Will E by the way) will always lead to inconsistent shooting.
Didn't Larry Bird shoot like that?

I wish Wilson would shoot more as he is 6-14, a .478 percentage from beyond the arc. To me, both AW and WE shoot the 3's with too much arc. Also Will rocks back on his shot. Larry Bird is the only player I've ever seen have any success with that kind of motion. Well, I guess Larry Legend can negate my theory all by himself.
I just read the whole thread because I also think his mechanics are bad. But I think you all missed the worst part. His elbow flies way out to the side when he shoots. You can never be consistent if your elbow flies out because it never goes out the same way twice in a row. Almost all great shooters have ELBOW IN as close to their body as possible. TCS, if you are reading this... ELBOW IN!!!
You are absolutely right. I guess I figured that if they corrected the part regarding him coming across his body that the elbow issue would resolve itself. You are correct though. Elbow out = shot missed.
Does anyone else here think about what the players or coaches must think if they read what a bunch of old, out-of-shape, wannabes here on this fan site say the players and coaches should do to improve their shot, improve their warmup, or improve their games?
The players/coaches who read this stuff have to be ROFLTAO.![]()

. Guys very, very, rarely get good between their junior and senior seasons. They already have habits that will be really tough to change/break.
Disagree somewhat... Rabey bad jr...good senior. Jerome Robinson...ok jr...fantastic Senior...to name a couple of the top of my head.
