I have never seen Tyler Les play but when he was a kid and he would shoot around and dribble before BU games in JL's early years he handled the ball better then any of our guards at that time.
Regardless, I am a big believer in Pedigree. Guys like Eastman, Les, etc who have fathers or even mothers who have played the game or coached it tend to have a much better understanding of the game. They tend to make team oriented plays and are often better skilled players.
If Les has an interest in playing at Bradley, there is absolutely no harm in that happening. If the kid is winning 3 pt contests and is playing AAU with competitive teams and his father is a former NBA player I dont care who is "better" in Peoria... Ill be happy Tyler Les in a BU uniform.
I have a feeling his game is likely very good and at 6'2 and he can shoot it, with I guarantee great handle of the ball, well just because someone can jump center or runs fast doesnt mean they have overall Basketball skills needed to compete in a competitive D1 game. None of this even mentions what I would guess is a very mentally tough individual.
