Rock Island loses to Pekin 51-44
RI played a bad game, Pekin had a coupe kids hit a lot of threes
honestly - neither team looked impressive - RI shoulda taken it to the hoop every time
JaMir Price was out a lot because of fouls then fouled out early in the 4th quarter - was not a factor

The link above says the game against Filou Oostende is March 5 - but Eurobasket says it is March 6- https://basketball.eurobasket.com/te...gen/461?Page=2

The official FIBA site says it is today, March 5 in about 4 hours - http://www.fiba.basketball/europecup...onar-Groningen

..but they also played a regular league game March 2 and won 92-67 with Rienk Mast playing just 18 minutes and scored 6 pts, grabbed 7 rebs and dished out 4 asst
They play another league game March 7 against Leiden, and again against Amsterdam March 9 then a rematch vs. Oostende March 13 (5 games in 11 days)

Rienk Mast's game is on - former Valpo player Shane Hammink is also on Donar (white)
Rienk is #15- he has 5 pts currently as Donar leads 25-21 early in the 2nd quarter

I sure hope he can do that over here. I’m very bullish on our recruits for next year. I know we hit a speed bump at the start of the conference season, but I am pleased with the direction Coach Wardle has the program moving.

...he was 2-2 from the floor for 4 pts.
One of Groningen's best players LaRon Dendy however, has left the team
