Watch Rienk Mast streamed LIVE

Donar loses a very defensive game to Zwolle 62-53 so the series is now tied 1game to 1 game

the unfortunate part is this...
"During the match, Rienk Mast (already in the first quarter) and Shane Hammink were injured. It is unclear whether they can play in the next game next Sunday."

Rienk Mast's injury happened 6 minutes into the game and is some form of knee injury...
he did not return in today's game and there's concern for him being available next game..

The positive thing about the injury is that Donar always bench players just to be sure and don't force players to play through injury. If something look serious they normaly go to the hospital (very nearby the arena), yesterday there was no panic on the bench and only an icepack on his knee.
Rienk isn't injury prone so probaly will play at sunday or will be benched just to be sure (Donar has a big rotation)

A ligament or tendon strain can take a few weeks to heal so he might not be able to play any more in this title series. I would think he'd be fine to play for his national team this summer though.

an article from late Sunday quotes his coach as saying it is likely Rienk Mast will miss the rest of the Finals series.

The auto-translated version says:
"The chance is small that Rienk can still take action because he could not do the warm-up today and
has to undergo tests on his knee next week," explains Braal. "It is not out of the question, but because
we have to wait for the investigations and the final series will end next Sunday, it will be a very short day."

Game 4 of the final series is today Sunday's loss was partly due to two starters playing thru lingering flu symptons,
and Rienk Mast - another starter - unavailable...
Rienk won't be avialable today but the other guys should be ready to go.

note- Thursday's game (Game 5) at Zwolle is a 2pm game locally - so they will tip at 7am here, Central Time

Donar wins to even the series at 2-2

final score 88-82 - the game was a single possession game until 27 seconds...
two of Donar's starters, Thomas Koenis (starting center) and Rienk Mast (starting power forward) sat out with injury

next game Thursday

There is a separate report that details Rienk Mast's injury as an anterior cruciate ligament injury (ACL) of his right knee - LINK
but suggests he will pursue a rehab course and no mention of surgery at this time. He will not be playing this
summer for his U18 National Team.
So we can be hopeful that he may then just enroll at Bradley for summer classes while rehabbing.
