I really never thought I would see the day the fans were blamed for poor play.
Now I have.
Amen. I didn't see too many fans turning the ball over, missing free throws, and not playing defense over the last month.

It would change some, of course.
The problem isn't talent with this group. It's something else. They are not a good closing team right now.

Everyone has noticed that the team comes out the second half like a different team. What I have noticed the last few games is that they seem to play a slow down game when they come out with a small lead or if they are within reach. Is this the team coming out lethargic or is it a game plan by the coaching staff? The consistency is that it has happened every game for the last 3 or 4 games. Almost like it is a planned approach.

The fans are not making the mistakes. The fans are not the cause for the bad play. I totally agree with these points. All I'm saying is when BU is in the guts of the game and things are not going well, fans have a few choices.
1. Fans can sit and pout and do nothing = no help to the team
2. Fans can boo and moan and groan = a little help to the team. At least they show they care and are making some noise.
3. Fans can make some noise. Try to rally the team. Try to disrupt the visiting team. Try to create some resemblance of a home court advantage. Show that you haven't given up on the game or on them. I think this might help the team the most. I'm pretty sure it did last night.
I guess I chose #3.

I have a number 4. When the other team calls a time out because the Braves are on a run and the crowd is into the game and rallying their team and the Braves are using their home court advantage, and I'll be blunt, TELL THE PA ANNOUNCER TO SHUT UP AND LET ME CHEER AND LET THE BAND PLAY.
That would be nice.

The Braves go out and win at MSU and UNI, how will your perception of this team change?
I was thinking about this today, and realized my perception would change pretty dramatically. Right now, I think of them as a 6 or 7 seed for St Louis. If they win these two games, I could see them finishing in the top three.
...and I am good with that. However, how much do you think fans are going to cheer after watching 4 straight games where the team blows 10 or 15 point leads??
I know fans are important to how a team "feels" but I think there are limits as to what to expect out of fans.

Yeah I don't like the replays during the game. They're weird, and invariably come when they make no sense. Maybe during halftime and in the pregame, but the replays should go. Maybe when the mythical new screen of doom arrives, I'll like them better, but I don't think so.
