When will Assistant be Announced?

I am not going to name names, but just think of people who are in the coaching profession that do have some past connections to Bradley or Jim Les (or Dick Versace).

And what if I don't want anyone with an association to Coach Les...

Isn't that part of the problem with whats at the top now?!

Almost all coaches get to select their own assistants. I would rather have someone who the coach knows and trusts. We have seen in the past that assistants who weren't picked by the coach didn't stay long.

Based on this criteria, names like Rick Malnati, Donald Reese, Mitchell Anderson come to mind.

I have no insight and am wayyyy out of the loop, just guessing

One name that has not mentioned that I think JL should at least talk to is the head coach of a DIII school to the North...Monmouth College head coach Mark Vershaw. I think he would be a great addition. He is from East Peoria, played (successfully) for Wisconsin as a post, he went to the Final Four as a player, and my 6'9 buddy who played at ICC and Sac State said he is the best post coach he has ever had. I have heard he really likes being a head coach so he may not be interested, but it doesn't hurt to ask. If the Braves offered up an associate head coach spot it may be enough to sway him. You would have someone who knows what it takes to win, is local, has a good pedigree, and is essentially exactly what we are missing: SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE OUR POSTS TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!!

I am content with someone taking our posts to the MVC level.

Asst. Coach?

Asst. Coach?

I thought S Livingston would be a good young guy to bring in. He is back in the NBA now though so I guess that is out. I remember hearing he was helping recruit in some cases.

Shaun could teach them how to shoot pre-game lay-ups up against the ceiling, when he was at Richwoods after he found out Bobby wasn't going to put him in the starting line up.
