Wow- BU loses 68-65

Bandwagon fans aren't whats importaint to this or ANY program. Every program has a few....its the nature of sports. The diehards are what a program lives off of...... and the diehards are getting restless.

I disagree. The diehards may support the program financially, but if you schedule a game and tell only diehards to show up, the place will be pretty empty. The Braves NEED a walk up crowd, which means they need their name in the paper, which means they need to create something for people to want to come see. The red/white scrimmage, there is your diehard crowd. You cannot survive on that.

I also very seriously doubt it was a supposed 3,000+ "walk-ups" that decided not to show up to the game!

Did any else notice Taylor Brown was holding his left arm funny during any deadball. He did have his left wrist wrapped. In the second half Loyola backed off him outside of 15 feet like they knew he would not shoot. I did notice him limping in the second half also. This was after is fall on his back. I did not notice if there was a limp in the first half. He sure did not look 100%.

Taylor is hurting a little....

Season tickets do not equal diehard. Many people with the means buy season tickets so they can go to the games they want to go to. That might mean ISU and Creighton, to some people.

Right, but they aren't walk-ups either. I just think it's a shame we have almost half of our season ticket holders not showing up to the games. They are obviously not diehards!

You guys must know a different group of season ticket holders than I do. ALL the ones I know would never miss a game. Bear game or not.

Coach, I appreciate all you do for this board, but there is no bigger BU fan than myself. I have supported the Braves through many a bad season. Didn't even take a game off to watch the Packers. If IMO I have a reason to complain I will. I would hope that you and others would stop making yourself out to be bigger and better Braves fans than the ones who signed up for this board because they thought they could discuss Bradley basketball. Again thanks for all you do.

This is the single greatest post ever made on this board.

Well.....someone said there were maybe only 6,000 people at the game, which is 3,000 less than the sold amount. I would think those are season ticket holders and not walk-up sales.

What part do you agree with- the part thanking me for creating and doing so much for the board, or the part ripping me for what I say? :D

Da Coach, now you know what it must feel like to be Tyler Hansbrough or JJ Reddick. You can be great at your game and still have everybody hate you

Why all the griping about the number of people that attended the Loyola game? I was quite surprised the house was that full for a "non-quality" non-conference game. I would say that it had at least 2,000 more people than the Western Carolina game. Pretty much the whole lower bowl was full, a good part of the mid upper bowl was full and a few stragglers on the upper end caps. That's pretty good for a non-quality non-conference game.
