If he goes to ISU after all of this, that would be a massive blow to Bradley and the program.
ISU beat out Bradley for the services of Osiris Eldridge - a guy they now tout as one of their very best players ever....
... yet in that interval, ISU never made the NCAA, went 1-3 in the post-season and accumulated 86 total wins...
Bradley was 1-1 in the NIT and had nearly as many total wins and far more postseason wins overall (8-4), went 4-4 in the head to head vs. ISU, and outdrew them in home attendance by 200%.
I will be sad if JW picks ISU, but four years from now, I will not be wailing and gnashing, I am sure....
I am wondering how a guy goes from "50+ offers" or whatever it was, to 2 confirmed and maybe 2 more? Especially with the glut of players leaving early for the draft...
The Juco thing couldn't have helped, but if all works out he still has 3 years...
I could see Wilkins not signing with anyone, playing some AAU ball and waiting to see what BCS team end up with an open scholarship. Then, after all that, if he doesn't get an offer he likes and we haven't filled our last scholarship, MAYBE he will end up at BU. At this point I think he's stringing along several schools, not just us.
Completely disagree. I think that JW will sign with someone (don't know who) in the next couple of weeks.

Don't know of any buildings but its the only reason why I ever buy Fetzer wine. :lol:I think the pic is just because of the novelty of standing in front of a building with your name...
hasn't anyone else ever done that??
Clearly we need to throw up a Morton building and slap the name of Wilkins hall on it.
and retire his dad's jersey
His dad's jersey is not being retired. It is being added to a Ring of Legends. His number can still be used.
Seems sad to me that the 2nd best player in a school's history not only doesn't have his number retired, but it has taken this long to even put him in this Ring of Legends.
It was supposed to be done in February, but Wilkins had a conflict and couldn't make it. The banner is now up.
